I wouldn't worry about sugar from fresh fruit. It will take you over everyday. Refined sugar is what you should be worried about.

I feel you pain. I have just accepted that as part of the journey. If eating healthy takes you to "skinny" then so be it. I think most people that have negative comments are a little jealous. Will power is a hard thing to come by, and most people cant find it. Do your thing. Don't let them bring you down.

I eat a lot of the same foods because it works for me. I don't fix what ain't broken. Boring? Maybe. But it works.

The fact that you made a change from your normal is a win. As time goes on you will improve in all of you food choices. You will learn something new everyday.

March 30, 2010 I turned the corner. After going to the Olive Garden and eating "The tour of Italy" I was disgusted to find out I consumed 1450 calories 74 grams of fat and 3830 mg of sodium

3/4 cup of original cheerios, 1/4 cup of cinnamon chex, 3 sliced strawberries, 7 raspberries, and 3/4 cup of 1% Horizon organic milk.

I gave some away. I still have a ton in bags in the basement.

Just had whole grain penne, tomato, onion, garlic, basil, and olive oil for breakfast. "Breakfast food" is b.s. Eat what you want when you want.

It is possible. My first few months of weight loss was done without exercise.

It is the best thing in the world to have that info in your pocket at all times. It can save you tons of grief, nothing worse than looking up something after you ate it.

I just weigh the dry spaghetti to the desired serving I need then just eyeball it.

I agree with Melanie. Sodium has been my biggest problem, I try to keep it as low as possible. Ditch the lays and grab some Utz all natural reduced fat chips. They are very good. and about 100 mg of sodium.

I don't know of a sure fire method to get over this, but I used the just go to sleep method plenty of times. It works.

Going to the Olive Garden was the thing that got me going on MFP. After eating the Tour of Italy I checked the numbers and lost my mind. Never again. You can do without that crap. Make it at home.

Weigh yourself as often as you want. Understand that it will fluctuate everyday. I weigh myself first thing in the morning. If want to weigh yourself once a week thats fine also. I do it daily so I know whats going on everyday, and act on it. I don't want to wait a week to find that I have been screwing up. It can be…
