Hey all I've joined the group a while back but just decided to post. Been keto since mid july. Already seeing results. My doctor wants to start tapering down my meds for the T2D I was diagnosed with last year. I am loving this lifestyle change!

Had to share a BIG NSV here today. I'm a T2D and have been on metformin and glipizide. Well I've been low carb almost a month and found my sugar going low the past couple days. Down another lb today SW - 240 CW - 232 GW1 - 180 I've been intermittent fasting (modified as I drink a bpc in the am) It has helped me A LOT!

Agree with what everyone has said. Induction is keto pretty much but the rest is low carb yes but not keto. I will only have the bars around for emergencies. I don't do the shakes or candy though.

I can relate with the non moving scale. I did lose 1 pound since yesterday so hopefully this is a downward trend. I started the intermittent fasting yesterday so I am thinking that has helped. Some people allow the cream in IF and some don't. Personally I do coffee with coconut oil and butter. I did my first IF yesterday. Stopped eating at 9:30 and will continue not eating anthing til my lunch break at 12:30. Though I'm pretty hungry already. So we shall see.

I've tried the pork rinds as nachos thing but I feel like the pork rinds start to change texture while melting the cheese onto them. Also sadly I can't make pepperoni crisps because every time I do my smoke alarm goes off!!!

I realized today that I am probably not doing as well as I thought with my tracking because I hadn't been measuring my food. So I may have been going over carbs all this time. No wonder I'm not losing.
