I'm on the flip side of this. I found the program boring and almost too easy. I quit and did something more challenging. I was coming off Insanity so that was probably why. My fiance likes it though.

Pitfall!

16:40 in Sweat Fest today....can't tell you how much better this workout feels than the rest of MAX 30. Then again, I'm biased to the original Insanity and Asylum.
-
Re-started.....again...thing I've got a good schedule to follow to keep me going now...don't know how much I'll post here at the moment, but I'm still at it.
-
@jaymvita I had shoulder surgery 9 weeks ago, so I'm surprised I can even do this. Firing my physical therapist for not pushing me hard enough was the best thing I did! Lol.
-
No, I haven't! The first time he comes closer you bet I will be! I'm getting Insanity Certified later this year, so maybe then? Tabata Power finally in! 10:40 max out time....those plyo pushups and pop-ups kill me every damn time! It's 20 seconds longer than my last time though! So that's an improvement! Sweat Fest…

That's flat out awesome and your transformation is incredible!! The only time I had the opportunity with anyone was with Tony Horton and a bit of a conversation on youtube.. No video but damn was the guy awesome for answering my questions.....Shaun T is absolutely someone I need to meet one day!
-
Did Cardio Challenge with my buddy and his wife, and she didn't effing Max out....she's an elite tri-athlete though, so that's probably why. My buddy hit the 11 minute mark....mine was 8:20 lol
-
Just have to get it in when you can! I'm a 3rd shift worker as well, but fortunately I have the ability to work out when I'm at work if I miss it during the day....I try not to though....no sweet spot, just keep moving.
-
YES....if you switch to a modifier you are adjusting your form and by Shaun T's definition, you MAXed out. Unless there is a reason you physically can't do the move even at the beginning, then you maxed out. So dropping to your knees because you can't do even one push-up I think is okay. But if you can do one push-up…

Did the same as you today!! I'm a bigger fan of this than I am of any of the MAX 30 workouts. It's funny about how he stresses the importance of the stretching in this video, but then doesn't have any in the MAX 30. Every week the Sweat Intervals will be swapped with this, it will also break up the monotony of the MAX 30…

Tabata Power done for the day....guess what??? 10:10 baby!!!! I screamed all the way through those last bits of Plyo Pushups but FINALLY hit my goal for this!! Now it's time to hit 10 minutes on the cardio ones! On a side note I watched my buddy's wife go through Cardio Challenge like it was nothing....but then again, that…

I'm in week 2 brother, and it's TOUGH!!! Makes Insanity look like a cake walk!!
-
Just finished Cardio Challenge Day 1 Week 2 and improved by 31 seconds to 7:47....here are my thoughts on the program through week one as well as my times and results: http://youtu.be/U9Yh4MSWbHs

No. DVD only. Unless you go the illegal route

MAX at 7:09 in Friday Fight.....was so busy today that I almost didn't do it. I pushed play and did it though....just very late....looking forward to Pulse or rest, not sure which I'm doing tomorrow (well, later today I guess). Friday Fight just kicks my *kitten*, those Switch Kick punches destroy me...every damn time.…

I'm lucky enough to work out....at work. I work 3rds and take 30 minutes to hit up Insanity MAX 30 if I don't get it in at home.
-
Jesus that sounds like a good way to torture yourself lol. Good luck doubling those up!!
-
Oh for crying out loud!!! Video coming tomorrow for Day 3 Left the video on the other computer (no video for 4, it's Christmas I don't want to do the work). Don't remember my max out for Sweat Intervals, but I was determined to hit 10:00 on the 2nd round of Tabata Power today.....9:41 -- 19 effing seconds! I tried to push…
-
Okay, this video is AWESOME. Shaun T joins the NC Fit Club to do Friday Fight! He maxes out at 10 minutes....even the master maxes out!! Absolutely great to see him struggling to make it through, and actually, makes me feel a whole lot better about my workouts. LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w9C14u5p78

Going to try and keep the pace with a video each day from here on out (although the next couple days will be tough) -- Here's Day 2 -- Tabata Power! http://youtu.be/vBmykfbVRys

You nailed it dude! I won't be happy until I hit that 10 minute mark though. Asylum was definitely harder than this, but it was also a different style of workout. The Pushups are harder on me because of my shoulder surgery, but I don't let that be an excuse...I can deal with a little pain, I won't re-injure it with the…

Holiday calories don't count! Seriously though, allow yourself to take a break once and a while. Enjoy the time and don't think about the food. Come to the darkside this christmas season......we have cookies!
-
Oh lord, I missed that.....TWICE!!! Thanks for the clarification...you're right.
-
Maxing out means that first break. That first time you slow down, lose form, modify etc. If someone's making it through tue whole thing without stopping and taking a break once, I question it that first week. It doesn't effect me at all, I know what I can do, others have their own goals. If you are keeping a certain pace,…

[quote="Lapre79; "ugh... omg how am I going to make it through 30 straight minutes of this" lol :s [/quote] Haha! I know right? If anyone's maxing out in week one, sorry, you aren't pushing hard enough, or you're modifying and need to move up, or don't understand what maxing out really means. I'm in pretty great cardio…
-
ah that's a good idea! The shoulder actually does well enough for pushups and pull-ups, but supporting my weight all on one arm even for the little bit aggravates it.....could just do the regular in and outs. Anyone else think that the regular Insanity just "seems" shorter? Obviously it's not, but I have a better time with…

I would drink that shake so hard!!

Cardio Challenge, Maxed Out at 7:16.....not happy with that, but something to build on....camera didn't last for 30 minutes so I don't have a video....just jumped back in after I maxed and kept on plugging away. My shoulder keeps me from doing the in and out shoulder taps (left shoulder surgery less than 2 months ago).

T25 is a great starting point.....but with any workout program, if you're diet isn't in check then nothing you do will matter.
