Some people get relief from peppermint. Either just the smell of it or actually eating peppermint candies. It helped me a little when I was pregnant.

Starvation mode. Maybe your are accutally trying too hard. If your body thinks its being starved it will try to hold on to the weight. All the excise plus walking in the park all day may have been too much. I would suggest internet serching two things; one is metastasis, and the other is a method called zig-zag dieting.

My husband and I have been using this program for a little over a month now with GREAT results. We don't count any vegetables. It messes up our daily nutritional values but its working for us.
