You seem enthused and that's good, don't focus on the scales lack of movement when its moved so far already. There are a lot of factors that go into that weight that are more than fat/muscle/bone it can fluctuate +- 5 pounds on a day to day basis. It's literally possible that that weigh in was -5# and this one was +5# and…

Well, this says you hate fitness trackers that give incorrect info or are set up wrong. That's not what you said in your original post, you implied your body gets used to motion and stops burning calories to do them. In your example here with the construction worker all those steps and movements that the body is "use too"…

Do I think you can be accurate enough without weighing your food with your daily calorie burn? Yes Do I think you're doing it successfully? No As others have said you're either eating way more or have a medical issue. I hate to nitpick your diary because I know how it goes sometimes you do the best you but if you're…

This seems like a good suggestion. Free exercises could include pushups, pullups, halfjacks, squat curls, box jumps, etc depending on what you have around you.

That is certainly understandable, but fast changes are for obese people.

Honestly I 'd be more worried about after getting home. Make sure you pick up with the exercise/good eating when you get back home. Working out on the ship should help with that a lot.

Mine bluetooth syncs to my phone and I can see the steps add up one at a time right as I take them. Seems very accurate. I have also counted to 100 and then looked and it will be right on.

I would think that changing weigh in day to Wednesday will give you a better idea of where you are with actual weight. However, if your weighing in consistently after wing night you should still go down week over week. How much over are the wings putting you? Where are you compared to your calorie goal over the entire week?

Wow, great work! Not sure if you have seen this or not, but I love this story about Rulon: http://joeposnanski.si.com/2008/05/12/i-really-didnt-need-that-stew/ Also, sort of a weight loss inspired follow up: http://joeposnanski.blogspot.com/2011/03/biggest-winner.html

I drank sugared coffee from age 2 to age 30, didn't think it would ever be possible to drink it without it. Got serious about trying to cut the calories and found after about 2 weeks of drinking it every day with Equal I couldn't even drink it with real sugar anymore. A few years later I did the same way from Equal to…

What do you put in your guac to make it "not-so-good-fat"?

Well, to be fair the info he has there states that as well: The problem is of course with the generic statement earlier: which implys that the excess is excess protein and not excess calories.

Not quite correct, its to maintain if you were living in a coma. But since you are up and moving around you are using more calories then the stated 1711. To get the number used you need to multiply by an activity level factor. For example, If you are sedentary (little or no exercise) : Calorie-Calculation = BMR x 1.2; so…

You still have a deficit, you need to eat MORE then your BMR, LESS then your total used calories. Your total calories are your BMR + activity through out the day.
