  • if she has had nutrition classes, she should know that her metabolism will go into starvation mode and slow waaaay down. it will be harder for her to lose weight and her metabolism will be slow when she does eat normally. she'll just condition her body to cling to fat as much as possible.
  • that's good to know the fiber works! ha ha,..... i drink a lot of sugar-free lemonade and other crystal light flavors, but i've never tried the fiber kind.
  • make sure you are drinking plenty of water. hot tea will help make your tummy feel fuller, or veggie-based soups.
  • I am a big carb/sweets girl too. Try to make sure you are getting your carbs from whole grains and complex carbs, instead of refined carbs or pure sugar. And make sure you are getting SOME protein with your carbs, that will help you avoid a sugar crash which makes you crave more carbs. I don't know if you can find these…
  • I was going to ask how tall you are! in your before pic you did NOT look 200 lbs, unless you were pretty tall! you are doing great and it must be so wonderful to SEE the results of your hard work!
  • I just joined today! I've tried just counting calories in a journal but I heard such great things about this site. So far I am impressed with the available food database and I hope I can stick with it! Good luck!
