I know I like a snack at night so I save calories for it. On the wine, I only allow myself one 5 oz glass, any more than that and I think it eliminates the health benefit I might be gaining by drinking it. And more than a glass for me causes extra snacking.

If you can take a small cooler veggies with hummus is great! I also like yogurt and almonds. I buy plain almonds and bake them for about 10 min at 350, it brings out the flavor and makes them crunchy. I'm planning for our trip, 21 hours!:noway:

My nephew tried to bring beer back from Germany, that was one stinky piece of luggage! I'd only do it if you have bubble wrap and plastic bags. Good luck! it sounds like a nice Christmas beer!

Fresh ginger makes a nice tea. Peel & slice off 4 to 6 slices depending how strong you like it. Add to a cup of hot water with alittle honey and lemon. No caffeine, very few calories and the ginger gives it a nice spicyness. I love it on a cold day!

I like some of the frozen fruits. They work great in smoothies and you don't have to thaw them. I use them in place of ice cubes, keeps more flavor in the smoothie rather than getting it watered down with ice cubes. I've used mixed berries, blueberries, stawberries, and mango.

You have just described me! I could have wrote this exactly. Weird, it's like you're my running twin! I can run faster for doing sprint work, run one min, walk 2 min. But for regular runs 5 is my comfortable speed. I think it is the short legs,lol.

Could your sleep apnea be lessening because of your weight loss so you don't need as much sleep? Maybe you could try adjusting your sleep schedule to only 8 hours. See if you're tired at bedtime then and are able to fall asleep and stay sleeping and if you wake up feeling rested. I've heard of people with sleep apnea that…

I know what you mean about walking in winter. In the 20's and even the teens is fine. Today it's 9F, feels like -4F and it's supposed to get worse and we'll have wind chill. My dog barely wants to go out to potty let alone try and walk. I'm hoping this cold doesn't stay long. They do get stir crazy without exercise.

I love these only I don't do them in muffin tins (to lazy to wash them out) I form them into mini one person loaves. The freeze good to so make a double batch and freeze after they're baked. I'm taking some out of the freezer for dinner tomorrow.

Just because they are skinny it does not mean they are healthy. I would not want to eat two frozen pizza and a pint of ice cream, YUCK! Let them be unhealthy if they want, but you don't have to follow them.
