  • Great job! You both look fantastic!
  • Mine are pretty tragic looking, but I'm still doing them and looking forward to getting better!
  • This may sound like a dumb question, but are the bras made by the same company? If I buy a good bra, a D cup fits perfectly. If I buy a cheap bra, I have way too much boob for a D. Just a thought.
  • No answers for you, but I'm curious about this one.
  • I love Kashi Go Lean Crisp. I honestly love it so much, that I rarely buy it because I tend to eat more of it than I should! Sometimes I use it as a sweet treat instead of breakfast, it's that yummy. And I tend to like the regular cereals that you do, so you might like it too. It can be pricey, but places like Target and…
  • I have tried melatonin and I did not like it. It's not supposed to make you feel groggy, but I always did the next day. I tried it several times, and with several different dosages, and it was always the same result. On the other hand, my mom tried it and loved it. I hope you find something that helps, I know what it's…
  • The one guy kinda looked like he was in a sugar coma before they even started eating!!!

  • I used to belong to another weight loss site, and there was a member who would post food equivalents on occasion, like how many vegetables were equal (calorie wise) to a candy bar, and so on. It was kind of an eye opener, just to see how much real food you could eat for the same amount of calories as a tiny bit of junk.
  • Great job!!! You give me such hope because our starting weights are about the same, but based on your BMI I'm guessing you're taller than I am. You look fabulous! And I love the dress in the last set of pics...
  • I'm obsessed, but I don't get upset over it so I don't think it's a big deal. I guess I consider it "data gathering" or something, I like to see how little things change my weight. I only ever rely on the number that I take at a specific time under specific conditions, but even then I don't really freak out about it. I…
  • I run in my kitchen. Weird is relative!!! If you're having fun and getting in a workout, who cares? I think its great that you're modifying it to get in more exercise.
  • I think swimming or mall walking are great ideas. Most malls open early for the walkers too.
  • I did one, though it was really crappy!!! I guess I will be working on my form as I go!
  • I'd love to give it a try!!!
  • I eat it, I like it because I am vegetarian and it is a good source of protein. There are a billion different recipes for it on the internet, but one way I like to use it is as a rice substitute. If you are going to eat it all by itself, I would definitely recommend cooking it with a broth to give it some flavor, just like…
  • I've always listed as light aerobics too since you're doing so much more than just walking.
  • I was in the same predicament as you at one point (at another time). I had an analog scale, it told me I weighed a certain amount. I tried a friend's scale, it said I weighted considerably more than that. I ended up getting a digital scale at about the same time I had a doctor's appointment, and the new scale and doctor's…
  • My husband and I had one that I fondly called "Fat Kid Dinner". We would take a whole plate of waffle cut fries, top it with 3 hot dogs, canned chili (with no beans) and a ton of cheese. We each ate a plate of this by ourselves. We would wash it down with at least two cans of Pepsi, and yeah, there was probably some…
  • I have no real advice for you, but I wanted to let you know that I feel your frustration with you significant other. It is always so hard for me to lose weight at the same time as my husband because he always loses considerably more with almost no effort. Though I am glad he's losing weight, it sucks when I'm busting my…

  • There is a definite difference, and you look great!
  • I'm a veg too! Unfortunately for me, chocolate and cheese are vegetarian!!! I toy with the idea of going vegan, but as of yet, I haven''t even made it through a 30 day pledge. Glad to know there's so many other veggies here, we are way under-represented on other sites. Anyone can feel free to add me if they are interested..
  • I have no idea what the nutritional info is on this one, but it's one that I like for a change of pace. I hope you enjoy it!!! * ¾ cup salad oil (see note) * ¼ cup white wine vinegar * 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard * Kosher salt and ground white pepper (or freshly ground black pepper)to taste Preparation: 1. Combine the mustard…
  • Based on what you said, this probably won't work for you, but I thought I would share it just in case. I tried plain oatmeal and thought it was disgusting when cooked with water or regular milk. I would have to add a ton of brown sugar or anything to get it to taste even mildly okay, but adding all that seemed to defeat…
  • I was thinking about doing something like this! Now that I know it's good, I'll have to try it. Thanks for posting, now I also don't have to guess as to how to prep!
  • You can definitely lose weight being vegetarian, but just like someone else said, it won't happen by default. There are plenty of food out there that are vegetarian and still not good for you. Cheese, chocolate, ice cream, sugar, fried foods...vegetarian, but they'll make you fat if you don't watch out. Take it from me,…
  • Thanks for all the suggestions. I will see what I can find! :)
  • I have used it before and I am actually using it again. I believe that, as long as you're changing your eating and exercise habits, this can be a good tool to help you. I did not take this to help me lose extra weight, I took this as an incentive to stay away from fatty foods which happen to be my downfall. Really, what…

  • I don't know if I'm allowed to post links, but if you go to the Happy Herbivore website, (just Google it) there are recipes for both a single serve cupcake and a single serve brownie. It's a vegan website, but I thought I'd share anyway. I can't eat just a single serving of anything unless I only have one in the house, so…
