most half programs only take you to about 10 ,miles anyway... you are an amazing runner. :drinker: i want to run as fast as you when i "grow up!" :blushing:

i am thinking about walking my course backwards tomorrow in hopes of finding it... the only bad thing is- i don't have an extra cell phone to call it with! argh! oh, and of course this had to be a super long run... i have no idea how long it will take to walk 13 miles! lolz.

11/7- 2.5 miles. i'm creeping along... the time change means i can't run after hubby gets home because it's already dark, so i've had to squeeze time in wherever i can. i have a feeling the treadmill and i are going to be great friends by the end of this dark season! on a more cheerful note, i'm getting lots of intervals…

when i started jogging, my thighs were the only area to grow, so i don't think whoever said, "you can't build muscle jogging" is correct. these suckers are all muscle and the only time it matters to me is when i go jean shopping! ;-) some of us were just born like this. i've learned to embrace it.

i would suggest that you gradually increase milage. slow down a little if you need to, but run further. i've found that the more slow miles i log, the faster my body is able to go when i want to pick up the speed on shorter runs. after you build a nice comfortable number of base miles (8-10) you can throw in some hill…
