  • I have known several people who have done these surgeries and your #1 has been my thoughts exactly! ANYONE would lose weight on a liquid diet for a couple months. And some after that vitamins and pills sum up some of their "meals" because after they take 5 or 6 pills they are full! On another note one of the people I knew…
  • This is funny. How many overweight dieticians have you all seen? Most of the ones i ever met were! Of course a dietician will tell you MFP is no good. They don't want anything threatening their job!
  • I don't know about the rest of ya'll but my libido is much higher as well. Maybe that is my age? LOL You know what they say about women in thier 30s! It is really wild how sluggish and depressed you can feel after several days of no workouts.
  • What they said. All of the people I have ever heard of doing it were only eating like 500 calories a day. Well duh you would lose eating 500 calories a day without the HCG.
  • That's pretty great. It feels great when you have proof that your hard work has paid off!
  • I got to watching a crazy old Rob Schneider movie last night called Big Stan. The guy playing Hershel was in it as a prison warden. He sounded just the same as he does on TWD. Maybe he naturally has a country sounding voice.
  • It would be hard but more than likely you may have other relatives and friends to think about that are still alive that you need to help protect. You have to remind yourself they are already dead. It would be most difficult if it was one of my children.
  • For the most part the True Blood actors do pretty well but I am from the area that True Blood is set in and the accents are a little too thick. I mean I probably sound like a hick but most people here don't sound that bad.
  • I was thinking he sounded Australian in an interview I watched. LOL
  • I know you are so happy! Good job!
  • I started at about 275. I adjusted my diet to lose to 248 and then I did C25K. At around 197 I joined the gym and now I do Bodypump, Boot Camp, Spin a few other group classes. Group classes are great motivators.
  • I went to school with a Dixie Land. My husband went to school with a Robin Hood. My youngest son goes to school with a girl named Diamond Rattler. LOL
  • I wonder sometimes if we are buyng junior sizes and don't realize it. I have this issue as well.
  • This may be true. I don't know your weight but the lower you weigh the less your burn. Which sucks!! I burn around 600. I weigh 185.
  • I do Bodypump which sounds like it could be similar. Depending on your weight I think Bodypump burns like 500-700 calories in an hour. Of course this depends on you and how much weight you use and your exertion.
  • Winner!! That was just the right thing to say at the right moment. Kudos to the hubby!
  • Whew! I hate burpees! I guess my bootcamp workouts would probably be some of that kind of stuff. It can feel brutal!
  • I would do bothon alternating days. 3 cardio days and 2 weight days. Lower weights with high reps for a leaner look. Look and see if there is a Bodypump class nearby. It's a great no brainer way to get weights in your routine.
  • Eggs are what start my day and what ends my day these days! 2 whole eggs and 1 egg white twice a day. And yes, most of what makes and egg is in the yolk.
  • I think the hardest thing to do is not to drink your calories but it's the easiet thing to do to allow more satisfiying food. I have beein drinking only water except with my cheat meal.
  • My trainer likes my fats to be higher than my carbs. He says that promotes lean muscle more. I think the whey protein right after your workout is a good idea. I will say this though. He has my protein up there. I am going over 100 daily. He has me consuming every 2-3 hours to total 6 "meals" a day.
  • I have one and I used it for like a month. I learned being around people works for me so I go to classes at the gym. I don't think I burned much using it either. I would pass unless you don't have many options.
  • I weigh every morning first thing. I know it's not healthy but I am with one of the other posters. I am obsessed with the scale!!
  • I had issues with this as well. Do I eat those exercise calories back or not? LOLI talked to my trainer and he has me eating like every 2-3 hours. He has me on high protein, lower carb and the right fats. He says that eating more fats than carbs reserves lean muscle and burns fat whereas if you deprive fat your body burns…
  • I hope to know this feeling. I have a pair of jeans I bought that apparently run smaller than other brands. I haven't been able to wear them once yet and I bought them back in June. O the day! Congrats!!
  • We have Zumba and Hip Hop Abs at the gym I go to. I think the burn can be very similar. Like someone said earlier the two major factors are the instructor and how much effort you put into it. I may lean more towards the hip hop class because I get into that musice better than the Latin stuff.
  • Attending a Zumbathon for Susan G. Komen today. It's about 2 hours.
  • Don't I know it. It's to the point these days I have heard it so much that I hear it when I look int he mirror and nobody is around. It's not easy to block out.
  • Alltime favorite movie is Close Encounters of The Third Kind. It never gets old to me.
  • I log mine under Circuit Training as well. That's what my Bodypump instructor suggested. Our is also 60 minutes. I wonder what they are shaving off to get 45 mins. You could probably get that if you removed warm up, abs and cool down, which isn't a good idea IMO. We are getting ready for 79 in the next week I believe.
