Could you open your diary please?

I see all sides of what has been posted here. But for me, here's what I did. Originally I set out to "lose x number of pounds this year" but decided that a better way to go about it was to say, "this year I want to eat at a calorie deficit, track all of my foods and make good food choices." No, it isn't a hard and fast…

Mine is open as well.

(how did you know?)

I may or may not have just watched that cat video for about 3 minutes straight.

I really have to. I am really obsessive about logging things correctly and I STILL constantly second guess myself. It's a good thing the scale moves from time to time to let me know I'm doing it right.

Fun fact, in Europe (at least in Denmark), calories are listed as "energy" on packages.
-
Firing squat!

Headache is also a known side effect of Hydroxycut. It is questionable to use and even since its re formulation has been linked to serious side effects.

You're leaving calories on the table every day, you should try to hit your calorie goal. It's not very high anyway.
-
It seems high to me too, I'm at 294 and set to 1 lb a week loss, and it gives me 1700. Maybe your activity level is set high?

Tonight we are having spaghetti and (turkey) meatballs.

I don't try to avoid it. I just accept that I like having something to eat closer to bedtime and work it into my day. If you look at my food diary, you'll see that there is something under "snacks" every day that was most likely eaten before bed. I don't snack much throughout the day and I always have calories left over.…

I am loving clementines right now. I have a big bowl of them on the kitchen island where they stay right in my face. They are easy to peel and you can have two for 80 calories. Plus the smell makes me happy!

You can also do "make your own" pizza nights. My kids always loved that. You can use a lot of different bases, from naan to 100 calorie bagels.
-
I was also looking at your exercise calories and they seem really high. You might be overestimating those numbers and if you are eating them back it could be contributing to the lack of progress you are seeing.
-
Just remember, you cannot out exercise a bad diet.

I have been where you are. I was you! Abusive relationship, divorce where I left with nothing but one paycheck, no money for anything, I totally get it. You are doing a great thing trying to turn your life around, and it's hard to turn so many different areas around at once but you CAN do it! Good for you! I'm repeating…

Please take some time to read the forum and change to a healthier plan.

Could you link the group?

Hi Kleigh! Welcome to MFP. The great news is that you are here, and that you are motivated! While the Warrior Diet may not be the ideal choice, I invite you to read the forums and learn. Meet people. Don't give up! Most of us tweak our plans all the time. The end goal is healthy weight loss.

From my mother, when I was in a really bad relationship: "I did not raise you to be treated this way." Wake up call! In general: "Whether you think you can or can't, you are right." That I gave to my daughters when they were preteens (according to them, this was a great gift). "I don't care if you bring home a man or a…

When I start losing motivation I spend some time on the success stories forum.

Friend people on here, log your food religiously, keep good food on hand so you don't fall into the "only bad options available" trap.

I like the Fiber One treats (with granola bars at the grocery). The coffee cake is especially good and only 90 calories. Plus they have a built in system to keep you only eating one. Two and you will blow the roof off with gas.

Bagel thins are nice for this too.

For online ones, I love the Paprika app. You can copy in a URL and it will import the recipe into the app.

This sounds like a fairly uncommitted relationship if you can seriously ask that, and on a public forum.

They didn't.
