The scale going up is NORMAL. Exercise can cause you to retain some water (you are NOT putting on muscle, I'm sorry to tell you), but that's ok, because... LOSING INCHES = YOU WON! :flowerforyou:

This is my biggest fear. :frown: I try to make our food as healthy as I can, sneaking in extra veggies and whatnot.

I have almost complete control over what comes into my household. And the small amount of food where I don't have control is kept in a cabinet where I don't have to see it. Alcoholics aren't going to make recoveries living in bars. That's your primary problem. I also don't totally deprive myself. The cabinet of evil also…

After dinner, I typically load the dishwasher, pack bento boxes for work the next day, and clean the kitchen. Then I'll go to the gym or do extra cleaning. Yes, as a matter of fact. I take half a tablet. Even if I forget until an hour or so after I eat, it still doesn't make me sick anymore.

I get horrible fatigue (my PMS lasts at least a week and a half), and if I didn't make myself I just wouldn't get half my workouts done.

Sodium, yes. I also find any kind of heavily processed starch, salty or no, will aggravate my edema.

Do NOT stop until you find a doctor who will treat you properly. Endos generally suck. Find a good, capable GP. Scour the Internet for fellow thyroid sufferers in your area and find out who they recommend. Demand dessicated thyroid. Do NOT tolerate a doctor telling you they can't do anyting until your thyroid gland dies.…

OY. The only thing that will make you bulky is going over on your calories. Even if you were lifting heavy and doing protein shakes, you wouldn't bulk.

Yeppers. The more upset I am, the worst time I have forcing myself to eat. I have to though. I also have a problem with post-stress eating. It makes me feel like I'm starving.
