I would make a smart comment about not allowing deadlifts, but I'm not entirely sure Crankstr can't find me and smack me. (She's scary.) With any gym, take a tour and check it out with your fitness needs in mind. It doesn't matter what gym it is. Does it fit YOU and what YOU want to accomplish?

Google Starting Strength. About 30 min 3x a week. The workout is online. It's free. Then set your macros to something like 40-30-30 and make sure you're eating > 1200 cals.

I do eat mostly clean. However, I do not see clean eating as being a weight loss plan. I do it for health reasons. Why put chemicals in my body if I don't have to? Oh, hey... What I'm having is fast, easy, and healthier than that. Making beef tacos. (I do all my spices from scratch, no packet... Just my choice). Using lean beef, corn tortillas, and grated colby jack. Grey squash with a little onion and herb Mrs. Dash on the side.

What is your activity level? If you have yourself set at sedentary and you go off and do a bunch of physical labor, it's not unreasonable to log it.

If you're going by MFP for your potassium intake, a good chunk of items in the database have no potassium info even though the foods do contain potassium. I know that in the US at least it's not required on labels. You're eating more than you think.

I really don't understand the obsession with people who don't care for cottage cheese forcing themselves to eat it. If you don't like it, there's no reason to try to force yourself to eat it. :huh:
