Up at 6.30 this morning, 60 minutes of household chores. Spin and body pump class for 75 minutes. Cleared the shed and did the tip run. 40 minutes of carrying logs. 45 minute brisk walk with my teenage son followed by an unexpected (but fantastic!) 10 minute run home. A great day.......

Four times a week and I LOVE IT!!!! The pain gets easier over time.....

Ain't that the truth!!

So fed up with staying the same weight since 21st of December despite cardio 4 times a week and having a really busy life! Really don't know why or how to change it.....:noway:

My teenage son, out of the blue yesterday said "blimey Mum, I've just noticed how much weight you've lost...it really shows!" I could have cried!!

I would give ANYTHING to lose 3lbs in 2 weeks!! Plateau for 7 weeks!! Be thankful! :drinker:

Congratulations!!! I remember a similar thing happening to me back in 2011 when I went from a UK size 24 to a size 12. I literally danced round the shop changing room! I recently slipped up and regained 40lbs and went back up to a snug size 16. However I'm now back on track, exercising hard and have so far lost 28 of it…

Thank you for sharing your success, your words are truly inspiring :flowerforyou: I wish you all the success in the world for your new job and your future happiness :drinker:

Get mobile....out for a walk or hit the gym. You'll earn enough for a decent dinner later  But most importantly, don't beat yourself up! You're only human...just start again and have a nice day :flowerforyou:

Thank you so much for such a comprehensive reply...I'm very grateful. From what you've said I may have made my problem worse, especially as I have training shoes with a heel and I've been icing all the time. I've been reluctant to see a doctor as trying to get a referral to physio or orthopaedics is like trying to find a…

I had a heavy cold last Friday and was due to go to a spinning class. I'm also asthmatic so I was a little nervous about how I'd cope with the session. Weirdly, I didn't struggle at all and felt great afterwards. I've also shrugged off the cold very quickly and controlled my asthma much better than normal. However, having…

How about "grow up"?

What an utterly pompous and sarcastic response....be nice, it won't cost you anything!

I am hoping that this is a genuine post? If it is, I think you're looking for help in the wrong place....you need to seek help from a Doctor as you may have an eating disorder. Best of luck

I walk a lot, sometimes for 30-60 minutes, often longer, and I log everything. My diary is set to the one up from sedentary....I'm a full time mum and carer to my son and partner who are both disabled. Logging everything keeps me motivated and makes me proud! Good luck

Oh my goodness, did I?!!!!! Went spinning in the morning, cleaned the whole house and had 1800 calories left for the dinner party and drinks. Almost everything on the menu (cooked by me) was by the Hairy Dieters and I took it easy on the non-healthy food. I did, however, drink what I wanted (red wine IS good for you…

I hear what you're saying. I live in the UK and we don't use the cup system as a rule, however I have found that most foods are listed in various formats - cups/grams/ounces. It's just a case of trawling through and creating your own mini database really. Good luck :flowerforyou:

I rediscovered mine after about 16lbs...that said all of my family have chins (many chins!) and all of them are overweight, like me. Good luck on your chin mission :flowerforyou:

Yep, morning works best for me. I am the main carer for my disabled partner and son, so I get up early and just get it done. Sets me up for the day :drinker:

Me too! Rich tea biscuits were my saviour! My midwife used to say 'any calories are good calories'. Both my pregnancies were unplanned but I have 2 lovely strapping lads aged 26 and 13! Try to enjoy your pregnancy and I really hope you feel much better soon :flowerforyou:

Come on gorgeous, you can do it! I've 'only' lost 12 and a half pounds but my clothes are already looser and I've lost 4 inches off my waist (thanks to loads of spinning!). However my incredibly insensitive mother actually looked me up and down when I told her, as if to say "where from exactly?" and didn't offer any sort…

Good Lord! You look absolutely marvellous darling! Well done :flowerforyou:

You may not want to hear this but you need to cleanse your life. The first thing I would get rid of is your bully of a husband! You sound so lovely but he sounds like a pig. Good luck darling :flowerforyou:

Could be your running shoes? Check with a specialist retailer to carry out a gait analysis? You may just need a minimal correcting orthotic? Well done on the running though :drinker:
