I've been at my goal weight for almost a year and I still track on MFP every single day. I see it as the "life style change" that everyone talks about. It is so easy for me to underestimate what I'm eating if I don't track it. I have no plans of stopping. It has just become a part of my life and it works great for me!

Yep! I love the chocolate peanut butter and the crunchy peanut butter builder's bars. I also really like the Luna Protein bars (chocolate peanut butter as well - are you sensing a theme here?) I have at least one a day. It's a really easy way to get some protein, especially being a vegetarian. My kids love the Z bars…

Take it from someone who has been all over the spectrum of weight (way too skinny to obese). You CAN and you WILL do it if it's important enough to you and you work hard - Every. Single. Day. Determination and consistency is all it takes. I was always skinny growing up and never had to work at it. I ate like crap but was…

It's never been right, but for the first time in my life it actually says I weigh 6 pounds MORE than I actually do! I can't wait for it to expire so I can finally have my real weight proudly on display!

^ Agreed! I am in love with mine.

I turned all the sounds off so it would stop yelling at me. I also upped my hr zone because I have been working out for awhile so I don't feel there is any harm in pushing it a little harder. That is just an average range based on your age/gender, etc. As long as you're not up super high for extended periods of time…

My cousin in 1999 and then my uncle (his father) about a year and a half ago. It's tough and you're definitely not alone as you can see from this thread. My cousin's suicide led me on a path to understanding mental illness and fighting to end the stigma associated with it. I think we all grieve in our own way. I have…

abs0830 - soccer? Spiros 12 - Drama? - BTW - your guess for me was closer than what you wanted to go with. I was definitely NOT a cheerleader.

Peanut Butter Bites. Not completely guilt free but a good compromise that won't blow your diet and your guests will enjoy: 4 Graham Crackers 8 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 Tablespoon Honey 15 grams mini chocolate chips (Optional) Makes about 18 balls. Per serving: (with the chocolate chips) 74…

HRM definitely. MFP is just an estimate based on the average person (which is usually considered 150 pounds). You'll burn more or less depending on your weight and actual heart rate.

http://www.permalean.com/ I like the chocolate but they're all delicious! 20 grams of protein per scoop. Also very low sugar, carbs and fat.

http://www.permalean.com/ I've tried every protein shake in the book and I always go back to this one. I like chocolate the best but all the flavors are good. If you order in bulk you can get a discount. I know they used to sell this in certain Whole Foods stores too but I've always ordered it online.

I set my daily activity level to sedentary and then track my walking and workouts as exercise. (I walk my son to and from school every day which takes about 40 minutes total). You could also set your activity to "lightly active" and not track the walking part. Then just track when you do an actual "work out." I think the…

Agree. I never used to eat breakfast because I have no appetite in the morning. Now I have a protein shake. It's quick, easy and gives me energy to start my day.

I won a pair of shoes too about 6 months ago from my local running store and I went with Brooks. They are awesome. Brooks would be my vote! Congratulations!

Do you like swimming? My mom has fibromyalgia and it seems to help her. Also yoga (although that's not cardio and I know you were asking about good cardio exercises).

Bless you! I'm actually 37, but I'll take 21 any day! :)
