Thank you :D

There we have the biggest dilemma that we face as those who have more than 20lbs or so to lose. You literally have to battle in your mind and tell yourself that no matter what it looks like right now, your efforts are NOT in vain. I wont lie to you, when there is no physical gratitude to weight loss, it becomes more…

First, I'd like to thank you all for the encouragement and inspiration! It drives a person :D Second, I call those "my fat days", you know those days when everything is wrong, you wonder why you are doing this and if you should even keep going? Those are the days I whip out pictures, and thumb through what I used to look…

You know, as a Christian, I get this all the time, and the same rules apply. A lot of people live in a guilty conscious. Oftentimes whenever we post, say, or do things that shine a light into the dark areas of their hearts, areas where they know they need to improve, areas where they know they aren't right, areas where…

SW: 385 CW: 296.2 GW: 155 Why?: I need to be healthier. I want to see my children grow up, and I don't want to be riddled with high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and the likes. I also am excited at the transformation that my body is making, and can't wait to see what I look like underneath these layers of fat.…

I knew that there would be loose skin, I knew my body would chose to lose where it wanted to first, not where I wanted it, but I never knew how unimportant the scale can become at determining weight loss when you are strength training. So many people rely so heavily on the scale for a true projection of weight loss, and…

Hey, I'd like to participate if possible! I do rest days on Saturdays and Sunday's but I can try a little something on those days!
-
Not almost! You may not be @ GW, but what a difference! WTG!

Flabby skin, and YES, loosing some boobs, I'm top heavy so its not too bad, but still don't like it, lol. What is also weird, is when you were originally very heavy, and had a lot to lose, your body goes through this misshapen stage as you lose. I don't know how else to describe it, lol.

TY ALL!!

Thank You all!!

What is interesting is that our weight fluctuates throughout the day. Don't "scale-hawk", lol. Pick a day once a week to weigh-in, maybe once every two-weeks, however you are comfortable. If you find a gain, keeping track of your food and exercise is imperative to helping you find out what is going on, and if can't find…

Keep it going! You CAN do this. Monitoring your calories, and keeping track of your work-out's will definitely help you!

Awww Thanks!!!

Men-Baggy pants w/ a belt. Sorry, I hate it, what is the purpose of buying your pants 4 sizes too big only to slap a belt on and let me see your underwear? If I wanted to see your underwear, I'd just ask to see you naked. Women-Spandex with prints (leopard, zebra, etc)

Exactly what I do also! 10 minute warm up, circuits, weights, and close w/ a little cardio. This is what my trainer suggested was to do the weights & strength training first, and its worked well for me.

Thank you all :D I appreciate all the support, encouragement, and congratulations!

It honestly dependeds on the person. Some people can lose 15lbs and drop, some lose 45lbs and then drop. It all depends on the person. As for me, the first drop in size didn't come until the first 25-30lbs were lost. I've gone from a 30-32 to a low 22 (meaning I can fit size 20 now, but there are still some 20's I can't…

I agree! Google, 4th dimensions, lollipop trees, and the land of make believe. Too funny!

LOL!!!!

Totally agree. Don't be afraid of weights. Women will not lose femininity just but picking up weights, and there is just no magic cure to spot reduce or we'd all be doing it. Why not take the solid advice for a little while and see for yourself?

I'm sorry, I have muscle-phobia, its over.

Well, speaking from over a year experience, and watching both my mother AND grandmother AND grandfather having lost and kept the weight of the rest of their lives, IT CAN BE DONE! And yes, it will be a lifetime commitment, but it is a commitment that we intend to make when we purposely intend to be healthier.

Sorry but no, been over a year and not only have I kept it off, but am losing more. This is if you yo-yo diet, or do not do it in a manner that you can live with for the rest of your life. Fad diets aren't permanent, making healthy eating choices and exercise a constant in your life, NOW THAT is how its done. So anyone who…

For some reason I held on to them like children, I knew it was time when I actually had to hold them up WITH a belt on the final loop and looked like I was trying out for a rap video! LOL I knew it was time to get rid of them.
