HEART RATE MONITOR. usually, the numbers the machines and MFP give you are wayyyyy off. and usually theyre overestimating by a long shot :/ if youre going to eat back your burned calorie,s you really need to know how much youre actually burning. as for dieting, FOOD SCALE!

disagree. if youre eating fast food and muffins and all that bad ****, and you dont know thats why youre overweight, youre not JUST misinformed, youre somewhat of a fool. its just common sense. and at least she isnt talking about her at work. the woman clearly NEVER has been on MFP, so its not going to hurt her feelings.

EXACTLY. thats what MFP wants you to do :) workout and eat the calories, or at least some of them. you have to move your body to lose weight and tone!

it counts, but dont eat it back. its good for your muscles and to get the blood flowing, but you wont burn a significant amount of calories that way. :)

its terrible but my main goal with the letter was to make him quit working. i dont know enough about his addiction to know what hes doing and if he even wants to stop, but i know that the added stress of trying to keep the company's finances in check is killing my dad, and i really just think its liek DUH , all the money…

the part about this that resonated most with me was "write this and then burn it." thats probably what i will do, now. maybe this sounds terrible but im not close with him, he's just some loser who is stealing money from my dad. thats literally how i view him... i would have way more sympathy if he was working somewhere…

unfortunately im pretty sure thats how you get an accurate reading, because its readijng the heart rate by being close to it.. if i jump with mine too much, and it falls, it cant read my heart rate. :\ i know what you mean though, it IS annoying... might just be one of those "suck it up:" situations

oohhh hopefully! but then when she comes back we gotta fill the spaces. what is WITH people?! if you join challenges, stick to them. if youre not serious about it, why get other people involved? i mean no offense, but this is kind of frustrating when youre in charge of calculating stuff :/
