I'm 5'3" too, but 37 yr old. For me, it helps when I have a food plan. I know what I'm going to eat at each meal. It helps keep me on track. I make a menu for the week on Sunday, grocery shop and then stick to it as much as possible. The first week is the hardest! Don't be too hard on yourself. Just do better the next day.…

I've been at this since September. I was not great the last 2 weeks and had my "first" day again today. What's really helped me is trying to not focus on the total number I need to lose and rather on small goals like hitting a new decade in my weight loss goals and getting to the half way point of each decade. Yep, I feel the same way. Today is my "first" day again after being not so great the last two weeks. It's been ok today, but I keep having visions of french fries and ice cream! LOL I know it will get easier once I get it all out of my system. Good luck!

I had a hard time w/ sweets and going out to lunch. If at a party, I'll take 1 bite of cake from my daughter just to get the taste. I no longer crave sweets. As for fast food, I still allow myself to go out to lunch, but I now make better choices. Instead of getting a burger and fries, I'll get a grilled chicken sandwich…

I've had the same issue this week. I'm going to give it another week and see what happens. I see a dietician who actually told me not to eat back my exercise calories. I know I need to up my veggie intake to get more in. Good luck!
