I'm not on Twitter, but I'm also training for a marathon in October. Good luck to you!

Way to go! I know how those hills are, as I did a race in Baltimore the weekend before. Some of the ladies in my running group did the BWC. Glad you enjoyed it!

Co-sign. There is no way you will finish a half without some major pain if you don't. If you can do Insanity on non-running days, that should be plenty.

Lori- Congrats on the 140s...that's wonderful! Marla- Have a great day at the pool! Richie- So glad to hear that your biopsy came back OK...enjoy your time with the grandkids!! So, I've survived my second major race of the year...and it was freaking awesome! All week, I had been trying to wrap my head around not having a…

Totally missed this one...nothing short of a miracle, my friend. So happy for Sarah and the family!

Checking in. +Food OK. Running fabulous. Sticking at 144-145. +Baltimore 10 Miler tomorrow with a forecast of 90. Thank God for 7:30 race start, as well as insane amounts of water and G2. (Taking a break with a fabulous glass of wine, then back to the water.) +Swamped at work, but that means job security. +Sort of started…

Hey Team- Just popping in to say hi. Having a mandatory rest day, as I donated blood this morning and am fairly exhausted. Not normally this tired afterwards, so I'm not sure what I did differently...but I'm resting and drinking lots of fluids to get my energy back up. Be well, my friends--

If I can offer a bit of advice, you do need the water to stay hydrated...but with this heat, you also need electrolytes to help your body process the water (aka sweat). Gatorade/G2/Powerade -hell, even a pinch of salt in your regular water does wonders. Wish I would have known this last summer, but it really does make a…

Hi! I'm a new bride-to-be (as of May 26) and just hoping to maintain/stay in shape until my big day. I've been at goal for almost a year, but I just want the accountability to not stress eat and keep myself active. Since it hasn't even been a week yet, there's no set date...but I am really liking the thought of Sept/Oct…

Sorry to keep you all in suspense...last night was insane with phone calls, and they have been making me work today! BF (or fiance, now) always said that it would be some random day that I wasn’t expecting it, and was he ever right! I left work on time yesterday because I just couldn’t take any more of the crazy…and he was…

Richie- You're in my thoughts. Marla- Glad you have a doctor that has a brain and some compassion...here's hoping that water gets moving. Well...for those of you not on FB, this day I am thankful that I will be marrying my best friend in the not-so distant future. That's right kids, my sweetie proposed this…

Way to turn that bad thought around! Those thighs allow you to run and work out the way you want, so be grateful for them.
-
Marla- Hugs and prayers to you and the fam...I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. Great story about the woman who joined you. Sometimes, people are put in our path right when we need them and that was just the case for you. :flowerforyou: Andrew- Can't wait to hear all about the sonogram! Got in 11…

We watched that this weekend...I loved it!

None of these places are incredibly far away, so I'm pretty much up for whatever. Chambersburg is only about an hour and a half...Marla's turf is a little over 3. This sounds so amazing! I've met a couple of my MFP friends in person...and it's awesome, but I would love to meet the people who helped to spark my inner crazy…

Tag...sounds amazing.

I gotta admit, the cautious part of me says that no good can come from an obstacle course in the mud. I am not allowed to be injured until Nov. 14!
-
That does kind of sound like a good time....
-
I'm not all that far from there, either. Just saying.
-
I know! And now, we're both all, "Oh, I ran 10+ miles yesterday..." like it was no big deal. How awesome is that???

Hello friends! Having a wonderful weekend with amazing weather; too bad it's Sunday and it has to end. I hate Sundays for that -so depressing to think about another work week . Anyhow, had a fabulous 11 mile run yesterday morning and ran some errands --also enjoyed my splurge of some fabulous ice cream. Today, I did…

I'm just waiting to get into an age group with lower qualifying time. Currently, my race pace is around 11 min/mile...there is no way I am going to knock off 4 minutes per mile in 5 months without some major puking and passing out involved. I'm on the 15 year plan. Though, hopefully it won't take that long.…

Wow...I am super impressed with your goal! I'm running Baltimore in October (it will be my first) and my goal is simply to cross the finish line without assistance. If all goes well, I'm hoping to finish around 5 hours. Making Boston is definitely on my bucket list, though. Good luck and keep us posted!

I'm happy to be back in my happy range...AND to not feel all gross and bloaty the week before TOM. WHOO HOO!
-
Hey Team! Been busy the last few days...super tired but feeling good. Glad to be at home, relaxing and watching my shows.
-
I'm not your age -almost 30- but I'm training for a marathon in October. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

I'm sorry to hear that it came to this, but I am glad he's not fighting you -and that you have good things going on to comfort you a bit.

I just found out that my sixth grade Science teacher passed away at 83...I'm grateful that I was able to have such an amazing teacher!

Hey Team! Hope all you mamas had a wonderful Mother's Day. I am glad that we got to spend time with my mom, grandmother, and aunt yesterday; and BF's parents today. Good times.

I am so with you ladies on this. While life keeps me busy, and I do make less than ideal food choices sometimes, I will never go back to that fat girl I was, and it's because of this team. If I hadn't found MFP that day, I would have stayed where I was comfortable -never shooting for more. Being challenged by this team to…
