I went through this exact same dilemma. I decided to give it up because the cons were starting to outweight the pros. I missed the gym My skin and hair were really oily My joints began to ache unbearably I was starting to go off foods because my taste buds were changing I started making silly mistakes at work Hangovers…

Some gyms actually have the machines in them so you dont have to pick between them. I would prefer a boutique where they have them though because you have curtains to hide behind lol

You really are my hero!!! :flowerforyou:

You are such a wealth of info!! Your brain is amazing how it retains it all !!

I am a fan of weight training and usually do body pump 3 -4 times a week. Thing is I find the cardio classes more fun and would be gutted to give them up. That be said, I doubt the odd zumba or combat class is going to do me that much harm

This has been playing on my mind a bit as going to the gym is quite a big part of life but I really don't want to make my weight loss any harder than it already is. I thought from all the websites I've researched that it was possible to maintain and exercise routine while in keto but I do trust Taubes/ Dont really know…

I made these and they were a complete disaster!

I fell off the healthy eating wagon and gained just as much as when I fell off the low carb wagon. Eating this way is only as repetitive as you make it - it just takes practice and enthusiasm to get it right! Personally I am more likely to binge on a "healthy eating diet" because I end up choosing 90% carbs (all fruit and…

Not sure - I would imagine so though :/

Great website, Is it juvenile of me to find "Gelatin for your skeleton" HIGHLY amusing? :)

Tell me about it! I would sell my fitbit and get the new one but really who's gonna want to pay for the old spec gadget when they new one is out and much cheaper :(
-
Thanks for your post Jimmy - everything you said is so true! I'm aiming for about 50g carbs a day because I know that when I eat that way I don't feel hungry all the time. Wheat is definitely the root of all evil as far as me and my diet are concerned.

You need no experience, your instructor should give you the basics when they realise that you're new. I love it, totally addicted. Such an awesome full body work out to really awesome tunes!

I decided to be awesome, and was....
-
You sound sooooo single

Exercise!! Work out until you've burnt off all the calories you've eaten, not all at once but still do it. This way next time you want to binge you'll remember the consequences and think twice

My colleagues have stopped offering me stuff now cos they know I'm losing weight - I actually find that quite offensive because I might want to eat a biscuit and just count the calories! I feel like the fat girl who isn't allowed a biscuit!!! lol

Cornwall here :) feel free to add me any of you lot! :)

I really feel your pain as I suffer from spots, even though I'm now into my 30s. I've been on dianette too, plus all the antibiotics going, topical cream kind of helps but it really dries me out. I will probably get slated for suggesting this but moderate use of sunbeds really helps my skin. Have you tried this?
