I have moderate sized boobs (I'm not sure if I'd quite call them big, but they're getting there)... And I had the same problems you're talking about, until I tried wearing a normal underwire type bra AND a supportive gym top (I'm not sure exactly what to call it, but it's like a tank top with bra built in)... So, the…

Congrats on making the first BIG STEP!!! That's totally awesome! :)

Hey! I'm on Abilify, and have been on it since it was a trial drug several years ago (I was one of the lucky peeps who got to try it before it was marketed), and for me I've honestly found that it helped with my BED, and other related EDNOS stuff, because I'm able to think more clearly, and it also did seem to reduce my…

Hey! Congrats on the BIG DAY coming up!!! Feel free to add me if you'd like, and all the best to you! Laura :)

My plan is to go to the YMCA at least 3 times per week, and while I'm there I'm planning on using the bike for about 30 mins, then going to a yoga class to stretch and sweat all at the same time. And, I'm going to do some more just basic walking between places, and using the stairs rather than the escalators. As for…

Hey all! My name is Laura, and I think that my goal is going to be to loose 20lbs by Christmas, and to stop binging by that time. I'm trying to be the turtle who goes slowly to win the race, so if I loose 30, then awesome, but if I only loose 20, then I'll still be proud of myself for reaching my goal. I am currently 5'7…

Wow! Thank you all so much for your encouragement, it really means a lot to me to be able to meet people who are in the same place, or in similar places. Best of luck all of you with your yoga practice! Laura :)

Thank you all for your encouragement, it really means a lot to me... I would often find myself judging myself, more than others judge me. My goal is to be proud that I'm doing what I'm doing, and that it doesn't matter what I'm like when compared to other people. I may not be able to keep my legs straight in the downward…

I got 32... Sounds about right, I still struggle regularly with my relationship with food Time to get back moving!

Hey, I totally get where you're coming from.... Food has become my vice, I eat when I have any emotion (good or bad), and eat when I'm not hungry, just hoping to fill this void in myself... I heard a great saying a while ago.. you have to, "eat to live, not live to eat". It's finding that balance, which I struggle with. I…

Hey, I'm actually wondering a similar thing, but my cholesterol and everything is totally fine. My resting HR is about 105-110, and when I work out it goes up to 160ish for light workouts, and 180ish for hard workouts... This just seems way too high to me. I have been to the Doc and have gotten a clean bill of health,…

I will speak up, and say that I am on disability for depression... I've been hospitalized combining them all for just over a year and a half of my life. I tried basically every type of medication there is, and eventually they tried ECT (shock treatments), which worked a bit... So I'm getting ECT regularly, am on 7…

Me = 6 Binge = 1 I think that this challenge is really making me accountable to all the calories that I take in, cause I don't want to admit it to you guys, and my other MFP friends, that I fell of the wagon... So, it is making me do the best that I can. It's truly awesome!

Welcome! Best of luck in the journey, and just remember that this change doesn't happen overnight, it happens in little baby steps. And those little baby steps will one day turn into you scaling the biggest mountain of your life. Feel free to add me as a friend, if you want some encouragement Laura :)

This is an awesome challenge... I know I'm a little late joining, but I am here now nonetheless.... After a great spree of not binging, I fell off the wagon yesterday, so it is... Aug 6/12 Me - 5 Binge - 1 Time to get back on track

I actually portion out all my snack right after I buy them, so that I can just grab a 'snack bag' and go, and they are so handy to control calories... * 28g Almonds = 164 Calories * 40g Crasins = 140 Calories * 100g Baby Carrot sticks = 35 Calories * 40g Dried Mango Slices NOT the processed chunks = 25 Calories * 50g…

Hey, Yeah, I totally did that about a week ago, I weighed myself before the binge, and then again after the binge and the difference was 3lbs... luckily I lost it all again within a few days, but it really did scare the crap out of me. How are you doing with binging now?
