Kuddos to you! :drinker: I have used the 5K and 10K app by Jeff Galloway. Loved them both!

Sista, you have gotten your sexy back! Way to go!

Probably....Christmas vacation is a ski trip so I am hope to be logging lots of "downhill skiing" exercise time! Wonder how many calories you burn lying in the snow trying to get back up

I like this too...I had a list with my current weight and all my milestones down to my goal weight, with target dates. I finally threw it away because I was getting depressed when I didn't hit my target. I replaced it with a list (ok, I like to make lists:-) ) of races, bike tours, etc... I have entered or plan to enter…

You know, Aprillsmith, you are taking all these responses in great stride! Lots of people have posts like this and then are defensive of the responses. You must have a great attitude and that's half the battle! Here's to you and your journey :drinker: Keep up the great work and good luck!

I know this isn't what your post was about but I took a gander at your food diary....HOLY COW! The weight may be falling off now but sister when you get down to the last 30, 20, 10 lbs you are going have issues. I've been lifetime with Weight Watchers for 10 years and was even an employee, followed that plan to a "t" and…

I am slow! I mean people walk faster than I run. I had a knee injury that I rehabed for 3 months this summer and when I ran my first 5K this fall I RAN it in 36:00. I RAN a race Sunday night and was next to last in my age group...33:35. On the up side, next year I will be in the next age bracket and only need to improve by…

Hi, my name is Tracy....married, mother of two boys (5&7) who is still trying to lose the last 12 lbs of baby weight:) Ready to get started with challenge!
-
I like salad pizazz (sold at Walmart) with Newman's light raspberry and walnut salad dressing but it's kinda like having candy on top of your baby spinach!
-
kudos to you!

I agree! You don't have to give up as in the sense of binging on 6 cheeseburgers a day but take a break. I have been trying for 5.5 YEARS to lose 12 lbs! I can get down to within 7 lbs of my goal and then I stop losing, gain a few pounds back, lose them, repeat.. I have now replaced my weight goals with fitness goals and I…

Great job! Fist bump for making good decisions;-)

bahaha! But will he be willing to scoop all that poop! :-) I am the mother of two boys (5&7), we are going skiing for Christmas this year so all of Santa's gifts have to fit in their stockings. My animal lover is getting a membership to the snake farm (only in Texas;-), right!) and a certificate for a sleep-over at the…

I am wanting to start a half marathon training plan in January and "need" an app for that!. I am currently using a Jeff Galloway app and love it but it stops at 10K. Any suggestions for half marathon iphone apps based on ones you have used? Hal Higdon looks good but it's pricey.

Looks very similar to what the nutritionist told me to eat back in July when I went to see her.

AND we are getting the kids and all of their stuff too!

How DARE you post a picture of a cannoli on this site! And one with chocolate on it!!! It's time for my mid-afternoon "100 cal bag of low fat popcorn" carb snack and I am having trouble pulling myself away from the computer to go pop it! You should be banned from MFP.

Best post yet! When you throw in my kindle, my kids DSis, digital camera and camcorder (to capture every waking moment of said kids), iphone, etc....I think my purse weights about 10 lbs! I would love to bulk up....I know a six-pack is in there under all that flab!

I didn't stay on track.... My entire family was sick before/during thanksgiving and they were kind enough to share! I was sick last weekend and only ate chicken noodle soup, ice cream and sprites for 3 days. I did manage to get in one run and watch an entire season of NCIS:happy: When I went to the doctor on Friday he said…

That is great! Very inspiring:)

YUM! This sounds wonderful, I will have to try it. I use plain oatmeal cooked with water, then add a little fat free milk, brown sugar splenda and cinnamon. Brown sugar splenda has the same GI as agave so don't let sugar haters tell you it's bad. I also love my steel cut oats cooked overnight in the crock pot. I use lots…

I donate every 8 weeks like clock work and have NEVER noticed a difference on the scale. And I have done the weight before/after thing.

My commute one way is over 5 miles, 6 total is a cake walk. I usually ride at least 20 on the weekends and most of my cycling friends consider me a light weight. But, yes, I have noticed when I cycle 20 miles a couple of times a week my muscles tighten up. My husband even told me all the biking has made my butt look…

I did it once all the way through and now just do it to fill in when I can't get to the gym in the mornings. The best advice I can give is mute Tony! They also have an iphone app now or you can print out the worksheets to take to the gym. never did the nutrition part. I was pretty impressed with my beginning/ending number…

I have been so distracted by this stupid 5 miler turkey trot I signed up for I haven't even thought about food!! I did buy a turkey that my husband will cook and am making an asparagus casserole that I don't like:-)

Not that they are the ultimate rulers of the height/weight chart but weight watchers range for 5'5 is 120-150. Sometimes if you set your goal too low it's hard to maintain and then you can get discouraged.

Personally, I love two a days but haven't really gotten to do them since I had children. :ohwell: Of course, my two a days probably aren't at a professional level. I run and hit the weights in the am and then swim or do advanced yoga in the evenings.
