Don't be embarrassed about how little you can run. Trust me when I say running (or jogging even) takes time to build up. There are times I do really well and jog on a regular basis and then I slack off for a week and then try to get back out there and do what I did the last time and almost die! lol Just take one day at a…

Wow, you are a very very strong woman! Thank GOD for getting you through when most people would just give up and slide into a deeper hole! Good for you for perservering and refusing to let that stop you. I can't imagine the physical and emotional pain you had to endure but you are now an inspiration to others and to…

I just did day 2 L1 this morning! woo hoo. My shoulders are already killing me! I'm logging it as Circuit Training. Also, I'm probably going to take 1 day off a week, probably Sunday.

Just wondering (as I woke up soo sore today), should we designate a 'rest day' ? I think it's good to at least have 1 day to let our muscles recouperate... What do you think?
-
I would love to do it as well. I've tried before and got burnt out on it but the success stories on here are amazing for it! It's definitely effective! Are you planning to do other cardio/workouts in combination with it?

I was thinking the same thing..I've been looking at the watch-like kinds too but I've read some bad reviews on them. I also can't afford anything much over $50..

sorry, that should be *heel

I noticed the same thing. I can jog outside with no problem/no blisters, yet when I jog on the treadmill at a 1 incline, I end up with blisters on my heal almost every time! Weird...

First, to Destiny, Obviously people don't get your sense of humor, or how motivating you are. I love reading your posts, whether they are obvious or not. Here's my "DUH" moments as someone said.. If you drop a McD's french fry in the car, and find it 2 months later, is there any mold on it? Chances are we've all done it…

You are such an encouraging MFP!

yeah, I've went up and down 3lbs, not lost hardly any weight but my clothes fit a little better. Like I said I just really started hard this past month.

Great job!! Big difference! :flowerforyou:

Wow, it's amazing when you wear the same outfit in before and after pics how much difference you can see! Great job! Your hard work is paying off. :flowerforyou:

I think that if you do decide to weigh yourself, you need to make a deal with yourself first. If there is a gain or a loss, you need to realize that it might not be a "true" reading due to you being sick. I know that when I used to be on WW, they would tell us that we naturally gain weight when we are sick as our body's…

WOW! You have one of the biggest transformations I've ever seen! You should be so proud of yourself! :flowerforyou:

I have the same type of issues too. I've been told to make sure 1). I get enough water (tons of water) which is pretty tough for me.., 2). limit sugars 3). mix up the workout routines and make sure to give yourself rest days 4). some say to make sure to eat back all your workout calories. Hope that helps.. Don't give up, I…

You are definitely right on doing it for health, not just for weight. I have to say that any time I go to the doc., my BP, sugar levels, and everything else are great, so that must mean something..Before when I've wanted to lose weight, I would have to work hard, but I saw results. Ever since I"ve been on anxiety meds,…

Thanks to you both and I'm not going to give up. The last thing I want is for it to get "worse"! I'm going to continue with Jillian's 30DS for the full 30 days and see what the end result is. My measurements haven't changed either so far but I'm going to try to up my water intake-something I'm lacking in-(blah) and stay on…

Not hideous at all. And I love your haircolor! It looks great on you.

It sounds like you are definitely on the right track! Good for you! You should really be proud of yourself. Quitting smoking alone is hard and the fact you did that, plus everything else is awesome. Way to go!

I don't have bipolar disorder but I do have panic disorder and I've been on and off medication (depression meds) for a few years. I tried too to battle it alone, or use herbal remedies and nothing helped. I went to work crying for a few days because my anxiety was so extremely bad-so I finally got on meds. It has also made…
