Morningstar frequently has coupons in several places including printables on coupons.com and target.com as well as the sunday paper and in brochures in grocery stores. You can try looking in the coupon database on hotcouponworld dot com to see if they exist at this point in time and also try coupons n things by dede to…

Once over the boarder goto a grocery store for just on case food. We travel a lot and thats what i do in case i end up with only a dreaded garden salad for dinner. Also try ordering a few sides...as a vegetarian visiting texas last month i ordered a plain sweet potato and two sides of asparagus then has a protein bar at…

If you can find it gardein has a cranberry stuffed fake turkey better than tofurkey.....soooo much better. I can only find it at whole foods sometimes...other grocery stores have gardein but not that one.

This sounds for a recipe for breading fungi bacteria and stinky stuff.

I tend to agree with whoever said the bottoms are too small on you and it would look better with bottoms that fit for sure! Try different brands and shop around but those look about 2 sizes too small. Take it from someone whose gone up and down in size your undies and pants shouldn't fit that way. That being said you have…

Don't know if this was already said, but go and sign up for a 5k or half marathon and follow a training schedule so you have a goal to work towards, better yet do it with a friend.
-
Yes, you probably do. Some really...really do not give a crap.

Sodoku (paper versions)? Play tick tac toe against yourself? Start writing a book or poetry...read a book. Write your to do list for the month, pray.

Exactly what i was just saying...if it's not what we'd treat ourselves with as adults why teach our kids to go down that path?
-
Ummm since when does McD have to be "one of the special treats of childhoood?" I can think of much tastier, possibly more high calorie but at least non artificial, treats that can be part of your childs 'childhood' memories. We don't have to buy into the fast food culture as a sold state and a 'given' in any family and…

That is probably a good strategy when dealing with CNN...

Wear sunscreen if you run while the sun is out at all (even in the winter) at least where I live....skin cancer is dangerous! I don't think I'd want my daugther running around in a sports bra and shorts, but at the same time I don't think it's slutty.

:) Agree!
-
Hehe mine too the difference is I knew I couldn't post any in the first place :) Sometimes I get sad I can't show as much progress pics :)

I go through cycles of hair loss (luckily I have A TON of it so it still looks rediculously full) however, never in conjunction with weight loss..but both before my journey and after for some periods my hair comes out more than others...I would say if I don't get it cut at LEAST every 6 weeks it starts to come out more but…

:) Agreed, and congratulations for your hard work.

It is NOT easy but there are families paying off their houses by sticking to a budget, and I'm talking about families making less than 50K a year, some even less than that. Like it or not the lady in question IS spending money at the dollar store with incredibly high unit prices for very little non nutritious food. I do…

Mine are gone too (C to A) I do NOT care it is worth it, I promise it is worth it.

Exactly, a budget problem :) If she really is trying to get out of debt send her on to Dave Ramsey's website to create a budget and plan to get out of the mess. It works. If she needs to budget for clothes budget for clothes, fi she needs to budget for food budget for food...if there's not enough for both I think we all…
-
Sounds like you've given her all the information you can and need to not take the burdon on yourself if she's not willing to accept the help and facts. I know allllll about being in debt, it is hard to save and budget ahead.
-
Well if she really truely wants to lsoe the weight ask her to give u money and you can shop for her when u get groceries.

I don't know what 'west' side is...I'm in ahwatukee (southwest) and if you go to www.the centsableshoppin. com (no spaces) you'll get some great deals listed there, HOWEVER, I would add that I suppliment her add with my own Sprouts research as I prefer not to go to Food City or Pro's Ranch (too far and too dangerous…
-
Absolutely time consuming. I do think even 10 minutes a day on a local blog can save you 25% on your bill because a good one will lay out the BEST deals that week by deal or store or both so you don't have to look over ads a ton. If you have an older kid you can teach them to do it...my daugther learned by watching me over…
-
Awesome :) I'm in the Ahwatukee/Phoenix area and our local sprouts just opened in August, I used to drive a little distance ONCE every 2 weeks to stock up when it wasn't close. If that's what you have to do go on Wednesday as it's 'double ad' day and you get the sales from the previous and current week. They do…

A lot of good advice about protein and how processed foods actually cost more than eating healthy I have 3 comments to made....one is fact the other (S) my opinion...*Besides my comment about Sprouts earlier* 1. IF you live in the west US check out Zaycon foods to see if they deliver to your area. They bring organic meats…
-
Specifically for you...if you are shopping at Fresh and Easy and Frys you NEED to check out Sprouts prices on produce they are .... better. And sometimes organic is even cheaper than the not organice (Ex: Organic pommegranate 1.89 this week) For non organic staples of zuchini, onion, apples, pears, red/oj/yellow peppers,…
