Um yeah - its called plain rolled oats out of the bulk bins, no additives.

The ocasions it has happened to me it's totally annoyed me - usually a male, you're the only female in a free weights area anyway and then someone comes along and totally undermines your confidence and makes you feel totally self conscious for the rest of your workout by critiquing your squat technique or whatever. I don't…

if you can afford it get a personal trainer. or do a programme from bodybuilding.com like Jamie Eason Live Fit.
-
cool thanks for that , I just recorded it off active channel so will probably give it a whirl this week.

my personal trainer tells me as long as you are eating right about 80% of the time. which seems about right to me. There's definitely no point in training if you then go through the drive through mcD's on the way home.

personally for me the best motivation is results - success breeds success. However I'm lucky in that I love the gym! if I weren't motivated and I seriously needed to lose weight I guess I'd get a weekly meeting with a nutritionist or good personal trainer to keep me on plan. i have started using a personal trainer recently…

Whats the problem, if you're losing inches you must look better and have lost some body fat? more and more I find it easier to clean up your diet, then stop worrying about all the rubbish on here about TDEE and all the rest, just clean eating and then cut your carbs and protein down to small servings - if you're not losing…

i have no idea what PCOS is?

she's just really immature. you feed her ego she likes being able to rely on you, but you're not the one she wants. She will probably go through loads of men who treat her like s&it and then maybe never wake up to what she could have. to be honest I've had really faithful friends like you in the past, looking back I should…

I've never got the whole eating better costs more thing. What's money got to do with it? Aren't you eating LESS, and in particular less Pre-prepared/junk food/takeaways, so therefore spending less? since when was it expensive to buy a bag of apples, a bag of carrots, a couple of ice berg lettuce, some plain pack yoghurt,…

jillian michaels dvd's work for everyone. also her website has loads of helpful info including a very good calorie calculator.

I think the best thing about losing weight will be you will FEEL ten years younger! and not give a fig what you LOOK like 'cos you feel so great!
-
another thing is if you are doing classes you've done a lot of is if your body is used to the workouts you;re doing definitely you won't be burning as much as you might were you new to the class.

I find it hard to believe you do that much exercise EVERY day and eat that little EVERY day as otherwise yes the weight would be falling off you. Also you'd be completely and utterly exhausted. Are you sure you don't do it like 3 days in a row and then absolutely crack and eat like a loaf of bread without even realising…

Kia ora! what you're doing for a couple of weeks. if you don't lose weight you know you're eating too much or not exercising enough. So modify, see what happens in a couple of weeks again. You will go mental worrying about calorie counting. Eat natural food, mainly veges and lean meats. Avoid junk and alcohol (yeah I know).

my six year old is in a barbie phase, she can never get enough Barbie dolls. We bought her a Dreamhouse for her birthday so going to get some more Barbie sets. Last Christmas we got a special Christmas Barbie and she loved it, (still does). Other than that still haven't got her a musical box with swan lake ballerina,…

can't live without coffee, eggs, salmon and apples.

as far as I can see Slimfast is mainly milk powder. I used to use whey protein powders a lot, but now personally I feel its a waste of calories which you can eat in the form of real, nutritious and most importantly yummy food!

I got great results from Ripped in 30. As long as you do it 5 x a week and eat right you will too. Right now I'm doing it for the second time but also going to the gym 3 x a week, 2 x a week weights and one time a week hell cardio session. It's all pretty complimentary I think. Sometimes if I want to do cardio at thome I…

yeah I reckon these calculators are just guides, at best. Its impossible to be accurate - our bodies aren't callibrated machines, we're all different plus calories are difficult to calculate accurately anyway. I reckon the best way is to make the changes slowly - spend a week just cleaning up your diet, cutting out junk,…

I've heard its the best one. You can't go wrong with Jillian, really its sure to work. I'm doing ripped in 30 again now but I'm going to do NMTZ early next year.

the new Little Mix album. Its very grown up and lovely.

I find the whole MFP thing can drive you crazy. I've given up logging because of it, I still dip in but it was becoming seriously ridiculous how much i was obsessing about losing weight, how much to eat etc.

i find working out on your own in a gym can get lonely. I have a personal trainer at the mo and it has been fantastic to get that extra support, seems a little self indulgent but after worrying so much about what I'm doing on my own for so long, its nice to share the load with a professional. I don't think its fair or…
-
what a ridiculous thing to say! Its like saying you have to log LIVING! Its already accounted for in your basic calorie count . Personally I've been at home with my little one, we do loads together but I still find the very act of not being out and about working makes for a quite low activity lifestyle.

I was disappointed to discover recently that she uses/has used steroids. However honestly, she has changed my life I keep going back to "her" workouts and I keep getting results. She says the right things to motivate me and i can't thank her enough for finally letting me get the results I deserve after years and years…

I think it was Oscar Wilde who said if you were bored of london you were bored of life? anyway: http://www.tiredoflondontiredoflife.com/

well in the UK here we all pay a fortune to the NHS - and the overweight people are the ones with health issues clogging up the system. So yes - it affects us. it also affects us if we are parents and we want our children to grow healthy and strong and don't want them to think its ok to be obese and inactive - we want good…
-
I'm horrified at the idea of having a child on a low carb diet.

I don't think its the way to have a relationship with any one, the My way or the Highway approach. you are never gonna find a partner who does EVERYTHING the way you think it should be done.
