I gave up watches. Figured with my cellphone, computer and car I could always see the time. That was a few years ago. Lately I've found its a pain having to get my phone out every time I need to know the time, plus then I go onto fa cebook and other apps. So I started really really just wanting a simple watch again. So the…

its utterly fabulous, such a great social documentary, drama, stylist's dream all worked into one great show with fabulous actors. I'm so sad I only discovered it in the last series (unfortunately because of the name I thought it was some superhero type sci fi thing so never even tried it!). but how much do they drink? is…

great question. they seem such a gimmick to me, do they actually work?

do you have a boyfriend or husband? sex and some good long pillow talk is always a good way to forget the world.

he is one star that stands out for me as I have always found him quite repulsive, creepy even. Different strokes!

I have friends on here who are having fantastic results from Body Revolution, but I find anything by Jillian works. Body Revolution is quite expensive, the DVD's are much cheaper - I wouldn't over think it, but personally I like doing the DVD's to mix up my cardio along with spin classes and gym cardio work. Just for…

also there is nothing weak about needing someone, everyone needs somebody. We're not designed to be alone. the idea that its somehow braver and stronger and more virtuous to say you don't need anyone I don't agree with.

its nice to be wanted, the thing is plenty of guys can want you, but there are only a select few that need you. I am lucky enough to have both at the same time, but if you don't actually need your family I think the ties are pretty tenuous - you can be wanted for so long, once you have been got, the wanting isn't so…

one of the first things I ever said to my husband was "my what lovely big arms you have". sigh. I like biceps which are so big I can spread my hands over them and not even touch the sides.

I find it quite chauvinistic . However i guess if he married her he loves her - I'd rather my husband called me that, then didn't marry me at all and called me his "partner". I know its a personal choice but I always feel a bit sorry for people who have been in relationships for years and years and still have to do that.…

don't lecture her. Its frustrating but what she really means (and she is probably well aware of this ) is I don't feel like doing this. Which is her perogative. she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to. its would be good if she did want to though.

I would love to lose 6 kgs in six weeks. Unfortunately not sure it can be done , what is your method going to be?
-
I did it and love it, I still take it out for a workout occasionally if i can't get to the gym. got great obliques from it and general core strength and its a good cardio workout so it certainly helped burn some fat. Definitely recommend it.

look at Tom Venuto Burn the fat feed the muscle, you have to pay for it but there is loads of good info in it, and he has a chapter on eating the right ratio for your body type. or go to this link: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/idssports3.htm

inconsistency, I was a classic lose it during the week gain it all back in the weekend kind of gal. Now I am careful to keep to my rules in the weekends too. Weekends are 3/7 or almost half the week anyway, if you count Friday which in most people's minds is when they start.

I think if you are losing or achieving your fitness goals by all means log it. If you aren't losing, you're not in a calorie deficit so this is definitely one area you could look at at changing, either by not eating those calories or by not logging it. Personally I don't. But then I don't do much cleaning either!!!

I did it for a week couldn't stand it. Lost no weight (but then I normally eat pretty low carb so it probably wasn't such a shock to the system). Its actually what got me here after Dukan I thought this is the last crazy diet I try thinking there is some magic solution. I felt so sick and by the end of the week thought I…

I have dinner about 6-7 and thats it. this week I decided to have a healthy snack (didn't log it) a couple of times, one night 2 rice cakes with peanut butter, another 1 egg/2egg white omelette. and I didn't lose. it was the snacks even though they were healthy. so not doing that anymore. its amazing how little you have to…

I'm looking forward to the four days off but I cna't go to the gym as my husband is working away so I have to look after my little girl. so we'll go for lots of walks and a swim. I intend to dust off my 6wk 6pk DVD instead and do that every day. And I intend to eat perfectly and just have one cheat meal. I am not drinking…

I use my one for days put it in the wash when it needs it. Figure I'm pretty clean when I get out of the shower so that can be a week. Of course I do the washing so thats my method. Hubby doesn't do washing so he just leaves them on the floor and uses new ones everyday. rrrrh.

save it for later or bin it. In my mind its still a waste of good food if you eat it when you don't need it.

I do agree that when you are getting down to those last few pounds you need to really do something drastic to make your body burn it. have you ever tried carb cycling, it is tough but it works for short periods of time. It means you don't cut out carbs all the time but you do some of the time. Certainly i find I have to…

Also www.bodybuilding.com has some great programmes, find one on there to get started with weigh ttrainng.

I understand the question. have you thought of doing something structured, like a GillianMichaels DVD for instance. These are great for results and give you a good idea of the level you have to work out at. A good personal trainer if you can afford it. Even just a couple of sessions might answer your question. All that…

its a no brainer. Starvation Mode. Defo. A rare and mysterious state which does not happen often, but what does happen is underestimating what one is eating and then finding one gets no results.

you definitely need to take them out every day for supervised activity, otherwise you will have fighting. is there a pool you can go to? or a beach/lake? hiking/picnics? Does the 13 year old not have friends he can go visit for the day and stuff? Or can you have his friends to yours? sleepovers etc? anything that gives him…

You're georgeous. Stop looking at air brushed magazines, and stop looking at fitness model photo shoots. they are not real!!! You are real and you have great obliques, for one thing. And yup some great advice, change it up and focus on fitness and exercise rather than just weight loss.

I am extremely against homeschool, particularly if the child is socially awkward. Surely it will only make her worse. My husband was homeschooled and he still has difficulty opening up to people, he hates that he never went to normal school. Perhaps if she is awkward have you thought of an independent school with smaller…

that was one of my fantasies too, had never ever been able to and now I can. I did 30 DS followed by 6wek six pack and after those I could do some - I think it was holding myself up with all those planks. Push ups are great as its not just your arms its your whole core that you need to do them. I can now do 3 x 10 so I'm…
