I got it for the Wii -- which is the best since it's the cheapest choice for me right now. Doing it tonight. If I like it enough I plan on buying the DVD's but I just can't afford $100 right now. I've heard mixed comments on both. Half like the Wii, half like the DVD but I've never heard anything but good things about it…

Everything I've ever heard, it's meant to be done consecutively for 30 days.

I have both Just Dance 2 and Zumba -- just got them a few days ago. I looked at the tutorials for the Zumba and went through it just to get a feel and within 4 min, I was sweating. Noticeably sweating! I plan on doing a Zumba workout tomorrow so I will let you know how it goes!

You sound like me! I have a ton of DVD's and basically I plan on just rotating to keep my interest up. I have the 30 Day Shred also -- I love it especially because it's only 20 min! My suggestion would be to start out with something you are comfortable with and stick with it, then move on to more advanced. I just asked a…

The more you strive towards "clean" or "whole" foods -- meaning, less processed -- the better off your body will be. Minimal ingredients is key. One way I started doing it is making my own food (i.e., bread, granola bars, applesauce, etc) things that I used to buy in the grocery store and never paid attention to…

I read all the "Eat This, Not That" books and as far as regular peanut butter goes, they say the Skippy Natural is the best. I would look for anything leaning towards all natural and less processed. Definitely want to stay away from the partially hydrogenated anything... I usually have a whole wheat mini bagel toasted in…

There are some things that people, man or woman, should NEVER ask. THAT would be one of them... it doesn't matter how big or little a woman is. It's rude & nobody's business! If she comes to you again with an apology, accept it & then just be honest. If you get it off your chest & let her know that you were truly hurt, you…

I love almonds -- but especially if they are in candy. I have found both the cocoa and cinnamon almonds to be absolutely heavenly plus they are really good for you & they fill you up!

I certainly wouldn't be, nor do I know any mom who would be offended. This is something I think ALL moms secretly wish! Well, when I'm thinking of women NOT MY mom's age.

Thanks for the input guys! AC/DC -- definitely a good one. I had forgotten about that! Tiffany -- I am ashamed to admit that I have a TON of Britney Spears in my playlist for the simple fact that her music makes me want to move. Same with Gaga. Lately the song Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 is one of my favs.

I LOVE the Superchick song! I'm going to have to add that to my playlist for sure! Thanks for sharing. :)

For those who are inspired by lyrics, I just posted this morning (August is my B*tch: Day 2) about how the song Strip Me by Natasha Bedingfield is my motivator. The lyrics gave me chills while I was working out this morning -- I real feel good song!

This is going to sound ridiculous and vain -- but I bought this really cute pair of camo pants at Target back in April. During that time I really thought they would fit me. Got home to try them on and I couldn't even button them (even lying down on the bed!). I haven't been able to wear them all summer and I am DETERMINED…

I am the type of person that can seriously go all day long without drinking anything. Aside from my 1-2 cups of coffee the morning, I have to force myself to drink my water. Now, since I've been working out -- I find that if I don't drink my water, I get really bad headaches (I'm already prone to migraines), so I really…

I'm IN! SW at of 8/1/11: 218.3 By 9/1/11: 208 Goal for August: 60 min of exercise every day. I'm relatively new to this site, so I was kind of bummed & feeling like I missed out with all the flurry of activity in people joining challenges. Hopefully this will work to keep me focused and challenged! Thanks for starting one!…

CW 220 By Sept 1 - would like to be 210 or less. Not sure if I'm included on this challenge? I got the message but I'm so new to this board I haven't "challenged" myself to anything short of just starting this journey... but I'm more than willing to give it a shot! Thanks! Good luck to everyone.

Hi! I am a newbie to this site myself. I am also a mom of two boys and I am 37! I have about 80 some lbs to lose. I'm hoping to make my goal sometime next year around my birthday. Feel free to add me! I need all the help I can get! :)

My favorite is the Chobani, for sure. The blueberry flavor is listed in Eat This, Not That for best yogurt. I like the raspberry, strawberry and blueberry. I haven't tried any of the others.

I think you are absolutely human to feel like this. No one is perfect and we all have weaknesses. And if we don't indulge once in awhile, you really WILL fall into a downward spiral. The point is that you recognize your behavior. You're not dwelling on it -- you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and put one foot right…

The walking I do at 3.5 and the jogs I do at 4.5 mph & that's where I have stayed throughout. In charting my progress, it doesn't seem like I'm achieving the pace that I should be at Wk 4 but frankly what matters to me right now is that I am DOING it. I have stalled a bit in the program because I had taken a couple days…

WOW! I am so overwhelmed by all the positive response & reaction -- never before on any board have I felt so welcomed so quickly! :) You guys are GREAT!!! :) LOL I look forward to taking this journey with all of you! And, I've gotta be honest -- it feels good to see so many other former WW's who have found more success…
