Supergirl, I have been keeping a close account on food like you said. I started at 1200 calories and thought maybe my metabolism was slowing, now at 1500 calories with no difference. Most of the time I do eat back exercise calories.

Since Dec. according to MFP I've been under my caloric goals and I haven't lost a pound. Also been doing cardio and lifting mainly large muscle groups with lighter weight and higher reps. And 20-30 minutes on elliptical machine at least three times a week. With no weight loss I don't get it

It won't hurt a thing to start lifting and getting cardio in, you will be toning and speeding up you're metabolism. I would try to eat more protein than carbs in whatever diet and calorie count you decide on. Good luck!

Nothing you can do about the binge now. Forget about it, and start fresh tomorrow. Everybody screws up once in a while.

Thanks, I just realized what keto was short for. I'm trying a low carb diet with leaner meats and healthier fats.

I just started eating less carbs for a few weeks now and dropped maybe 2 lbs. you guys have peaked my interest about keto's? Is it safe to do this for a long time or is it more of a lifestyle change? Thanks.

Take a brown paper bag, the kind that you use to bring your lunch in and spray the inside with "Pam" It doesn't take much. Put in 1/4 cup of kernels fold the top, I put one staple in it to seal it. Then push the popcorn button on your microwave!

Vanilla Oikos Greek with granola cereal and fresh blueberries or any fruit. Grandkids think it's better than icecream!!

Also remember the hamburger and fries from a bar or restaurant are loaded with sodium and that will make you temporarily gain water weight. Stick with it your doing great!

@binknbaby-- I think your first paragraph solved my problem! About not eating enough to keep the metabolism going. I've been skipping lunch alot lately and weight loss pretty much stopped. Thanks!!

I think you and I have the same problem. I'm trying to get rid of 15 lbs.and have stopped cold at 6 lbs. But my clothes are fitting better so I know something good is happening! Keep it up whatever you do is making you healthy right?!

Tried it and love it! But when I looked up my ingredients it came up 105 calories. I used angel food cake and regular choc. cake mix, did I do something wrong?
