I try not to weigh myself, but sometimes when I feel "lighter" or my belly doesn't feel as bloated, I'll hope on the scale just to see if there's been any changes (down not up lol!!) But over the past few weeks, I've been weighing every other day. I've read over the years of nutritionist, doctors, and trainers, and average…

@qnofhearts Yeah I gotta agree with SmartAlec...you really don't know it's there. As a matter of fact, my friend brushed my arm to get my attention and then he was like "what's that?" lol! He didn't even see it (had on a long sleeved shirt) Thanks again for y'alls feedback!!

Thanks a bunch for your feedback! I'm gonna keep "playing around" with it to see what will work for me since I've only had it for a couple of days! :-) Thanks again and Happy New Year!!

I just bought it today and plan to start it tomorrow! I'm looking forward to it because the workouts look like the workouts I've done in bootcamp settings. I also like the fact you can link it with your already existing Nike+ account and it will add your Nike Fuel to your account. And, if I"m not mistaken, the progess is…

Hey there! Honestly, I don't think there should be an elimination of foods when losing weight! You've gotta enjoy the journey but you gotta also find what's helping you lose or what's making you gain. I'd suggest keeping a written food journal and maybe write your mood each time you eat. Keep up with your calories here on…

Hey there!! It could be because you're net eating enough calories! Do you have a heart rate monitor or can you gauge how many calories you're burning when you workout? I eat between 1750-2000 calories on the days I have workouts...I have a heart rate monitor that I wear during my workouts. It shows me how many calories I'm…

For me, I lose when I eat 1800-1900 cals/day! I'm burning 400-600cals/day 6 days a week (according to my heart rate monitor). I add those extra calories and I eat them or not! My body would always plateau when I was eating 1400-1600 cals...but once I broke the plateau and eating more cals and being more physically active,…

Hey there! I've been told by my trainer and others that it's best to workout in the mornings....more energy throughout the day and you've got it outta the way ;-) Also, you can burn more calories from a morning workout vs an afternoon or evening workout! HTH!

You hit the nail on the head, kekl!!! I think those accomplishments are the best motivators to losing weight and getting fit!! Us, as women, have our ups and downs with the scale because of water retention and small fluctuations in our weight. But being able to do 50 military style pushups in a row is BIG BIG BIG!!! Your…

Hey Monique and Liz! I was diagnosed with PCOS 12 years ago (I'm 36). I haven't tried to become pregnant, but from my understanding, to lose the weight for us, we have to strength train for at least 30/mins 3-5 days a week. More strength training instead of cardio is very important for us. I weighed 242lbs in 2000 and I'm…
