Yea, make sure they're organic free range eggs ;).

Exactly. Which makes posting them totally pointless and unnecessary.

Lol! You're not helping anyone by coming off as an alarmist. It was nice talking to you. Stay safe. Beware of the evil deli meats!

This was in the last line "our study does not support a positive association between the intake of nitrate or nitrite and gastric cancer risk."
-
Well great then, glad we're on the same page. Logically speaking, within context of proper amounts, we shouldn't be worried about ill effects whatsoever. That is the whole point of this thread. You didn't need to bring up studies done on cancer in the first place. Thats what many people took issue with.

This just shows that you're great at searching the database. Did you review the methods? Did you review the data? None of it has any relevance to the real world. None of them made clear conclusions. I'm not disputing any of the findings. What I'm pointing out is, you lack the understanding of dosing and context and simply…

For some reason, women think that eating protein, or lifting weights will turn them into she-hulks. If that is the case everyone on this earth will be big and bulky.

Wrong understanding of macronutrients. Its a calorie deficit that helps you lose fat.

Obesity is on the rise, because people eat too damn much. Thats all there is too it. Nothing to do with processed foods.

I find it funny, when people claim to be die hard clean eaters. No processed food whatsoever. Yet they turn around and take all kinds of supplements, medicine. Where is the logic in that? The term "clean" or "dirty" has no standard definition. It varies a lot. Therefore it shouldn't be used to describe foods.
-
That study can be disregarded because it is not published. You are right in the sense that context must be established. Even water can kill you.
-
Thank for not embarrassing me. You obviously did a good job doing it to yourself. Good luck with your clean eating goals of 2011. Please stay safe.

Like I said, addition of BCAA's on a high protein diet is pointless, because you get sufficient amounts of BCAA's in foods. The amino acid everyone is looking for is Leucine and that is found aplenty in foods like beef, chicken, fish and eggs. I'm not against supplementing BCAA's. If you supplement BCAA's on a protein rich…

On a diet with sufficient protein, bcaa's are a complete waste of money.

Joseph Mercola is a moron. I wouldn't listen to what he says.

You can reduce your carbs to create a larger calorie deficit, but i wouldn't advice completely removing it. It is after all the number 1 source of energy for your body.
-
You would have to manage it in such a way that would allow sufficient recovery.

We do love those pseudoscientific garbage don't we.

Take note that if you do workout right after you eat, digestion of food will be slightly impaired, as blood is diverted from the stomach to your muscles. Which is why most people feel like puking if they workout right after they eat. Since you are consuming more fibre, it may be wise to allow more time between food and…

How long before your workout do you eat?
