My trainer told me not to eat before bed. Especially pasta, breads or heavy carbs. But what does before bed mean? 2 hours? 3 hours? 1 hour? I am 37 and just found my "one". I am glad I waited. More mature and stable to maintain a grown up relationship. He is 8 years older than me and the most wonderful man ever. Or I guess he is old enough to be my grandpa! :noway:

I was in the same situation only 2 days ago. I had a picture taken of me and my 13 year old son at his school and i was horrified at how i looked. I cried all the way home and vowed to push myself even harder. Good luck to you!

You are probably right. That does sound like a big jump in calories. I have set it to 1430 for the moment. I am not sure if i am going to be able to eat that much at the beginning, but i can work up to it if not. I do some jillian michaels, but currently doing c25k more than anything. Thanks for the advice.

I turned 24 just 2 days after my son was born. He is 13 now. His dad left when he was only 9 months old and never looked back. I raised my son by myself for 12 years. (Found an amazing man last year!) I am so proud not only of my son, but of myself for being able to do it on my own. Good luck with your pregnancy!!

Thank you for the info. I just upped my calories to maintenance mode to try this out. I am up to 1680 calories now. I will try it at this for a little and see if it helps. It's pretty close to the 1710 suggested. I guess it can't hurt to try. I do have a while before the wedding to change things up a bit. Thanks again!

Jenny: My stats are - 5feet 4 inches. weight is 148. BMR (from fat2fit) 1426 TDEE is 1823. I eat about 1310ish daily. Sometimes more, sometimes less. And currently doing C25K and Jillian Michaels. Just got the insanity work out too, but haven't started.

I upped mine from 1200 to 1310 and still nothing. That's why i am afraid to go any higher. Fat2fit says my BMR is 1426 but i just cant imagine eating that much and still not gain anything. Maybe i should just suck it up and do it. I can't imagine i could get any bigger.

Wow, i know the feeling. Would like to see if there are any answers to your question. I usually go for a spoon (or 2 or 3) of peanut butter after my salad. Does not work, so then I grab a coffee. That usually works to stop the hunger pangs for me.
