You lk AWESOME in your new lulu! Congrats! I hope I'm that confident someday :)

Re-posting in the rolled thread! Sorry for the re-post, but this is the first photo I have ever edited and added to the forum! Another reason to be proud of myself :) It's at the finish line as I heard my name announced. It's 4 months later and I still think about that moment almost every day!…

My first ever picture post. You guys are all amazing. I'm crying at work now, but thank you!

1) They are not 100% accurate 2) You can't expect to lose all fat 3) You lost 15 pounds in 3 months, that is over a pound a week, so your deficit is over 500 calories a day. If you lose weight more slowly you can try and make the loss more fat and less LBM 4) If you lose weight, you WILL lose LBM, because you won't need so…

That's so awesome! I really want to travel and do the lulu half marathon some year! I have a full race schedule for the next couple tho, hopefully in the future :) Congrats on your time and on completing your 2nd half! The half is my favorite race/favorite distance :) What were the tips you got that worked for you? I have…

Squats, some yoga poses, bridge, walking at a steep incline, cycling... Lots of options, and yes, you can build muscle there!
-
I agree on the icing, see if that helps. Also, good idea to get fitted for shoes is you haven't. Lots of people get "runner's knee" because the quads aren't developed enough to support such a big increase in activity and well, pounding on the pavement, etc. I alternate running with biking and also do some strength training…

Totally, totally normal and nothing to worry about. During the 3-5 minute break you are getting lactic acid building up in your leg muscles, and it makes them sluggish to get going again. Stretch, or jog in place while your son is in the bathroom, and start walking and then build back up to your jog when you get back to…

I want to know too!! I want to be so much faster than I am and I research all the time and train appropriately, but improvements are soooo slow! Frustrating!

How tall are you? A 22 year-old female who is currently 130 pounds looking to get to 110 probably does not actually have flabby arms. Lift weights, get happy with your body.

Yeah, I'm running that much, significantly smaller than you, and eating 1,800 - 2,400 cals a day. I don't log consistenly, but I think most days out of the last 3 weeks or so I have logged "most things" I ate. Use MFP - what does it tell you to eat to lose 0.5 - 1 lb a week. Don't even try for more than that while…

Thank you so much for sharing! You have a long life ahead of you now, keep taking care of yourself like you have learned to do. I love your smile in the 2nd picture. It shows your happiness and makes you very beautiful. Congratulations!

It looks like you have got your own C25K or run/walk method going, and people may want to copy you since they see it WORKING for you! Don't stress about it or worry they think you are unhealthy :) I see people all the time that make me think, if they can do it, my excuses are bull. If you are providing that to people and…

Oh, and don't get pregnant without getting help!
-
No. No. If this is serious, please get help. Not here, from a marriage counselor. Your HUSBAND has feelings for another woman and wants a girlfriend? Surely you know this is a problem. Some people want an open relationship. If you don't, get help. He's having one.
-
I just checked your pictures. You are beautiful, and he's an idiot. LOVE your hair.

Without knowing much about you physically, hard to say, but you are a woman, so I'm going to say probably not at all accurate. That's a decent walking pace, but I wouldn't expect to burn more than 100 calories a mile walking. Since I'm guessing you burned about 140 and it's saying 193 that's a difference of 38%. It may not…

There a Luke's Locker in Katy, and they let you try out shoes for I think 10 or 15 days and they will give you your money back if you bring them back because they don't work for you and you buy a new pair. For picking shoes, you can just tell any of the people at Luke's how much you run & how fast you run, plus any issues…

Sounds like you are running too fast and getting heart rate too high - that's what makes the rest of the day feel sluggish and tired. And sorry, but you are WAY off on the cals burned through biking. I burn about 350 cals in a HALF HOUR of running and about 450 cals in an HOUR of cycling, and I actually race, not "play…

I just finished an Ironman in May, and the whole 26 weeks I was aiming for 55-60c, 20-25p, 15-20f. It worked perfectly for me. I gained a little weight due to the "rungries" and over-eating, but not because of the mix. I logged about half the days of the week and checked my weekly graphs, not daily. I think 80-10-10 would…

I have to stop eating "real" food at least 2 hours before I start the run. During a long run its all fake food like gels, gu, gatorade, and I don't usually have a GI problem with those. Try to find the foods that will make you go quickly, and eat those 2 hours before + coffee or some form of caffeine, and then try, try,…

Wow - someone crazier than I am :) I ran 2 marathons this year and have 3 coming up in the next 10 months. It's hard to lose weight training for a marathon, the "rungries" are a beast. I gained weight training for my first marathon and my first Ironman. I'm a busy mom of 1, about to turn 37, and in TX. We have some stuff…

WOW!! That is amazing work! And I just have to say that you were also beautiful before, but wow, losing some fat on your face made your face look incredible! Love your cheekbones & jawline! Love the dress too actually :) Congrats on a healthy year!

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for posting! That was really hilarious and so, so true. Except I did not start running until my kid was 10, so I never had to fight with a jogging stroller, hahaha.

Fixed it for you.

Yeah, I don't know many people who eat clean and would agree that Luna is clean... The chips certainly aren't. I don't eat "clean" so I don't care. Looking at your typical day and what you eat, I would say that you lost weight because you massively restricted calories. That's a whole day of food?! That can't be more than…

LOL! Is this a response to the cauliflower-alfredo life changing thing from earlier? HAHAHAH. Cauliflower is not awful, but it will NEVER be Alfredo sauce.

Anyone who is in decent shape should be able to run a mile (slowly) even if they don't run. 3? That's a lot if you don't run. If you run it and push yourself, just be prepared to be in pain, lots of pain, the next few days. I assume it is for charity or some other purpose that you signed up for a 5K since you don't run?…

Get your kidney function tested. Like right now. NOW.

Wow! Bossy and judgy? Food can be a treat. It may not work for you... OP, just look for frozen yogurt or a fruit sorbet that is lower calorie, get a smaller size (maybe a kid's cup), and put fresh fruit on top. Then enjoy it, because it sounds like someone is being nice to you and wants to spend time with you :)
