Upstate NY, 40's, Recreational Runner Mom!

Hi all! I'm trying to get in gear to get in shape for good. I'm a busy mom of 2, about to turn 43, newly remarried and training for 3 marathons in the fall (yup, you read that right...)

I've tried everything from the Bodybugg to marathon training to becoming certified as a personal trainer (hoping I could put the knowledge to use on myself), but nothing has worked. Still have a good 25-30 lbs to lose, but more importantly want to tone up. Motivation and determination are my biggest weaknesses, and I'm really hoping to find some here!!

    Wow - someone crazier than I am :)

    I ran 2 marathons this year and have 3 coming up in the next 10 months.

    It's hard to lose weight training for a marathon, the "rungries" are a beast. I gained weight training for my first marathon and my first Ironman.

    I'm a busy mom of 1, about to turn 37, and in TX. We have some stuff in common so feel free to add me for support and motivation :)
