Do most of you heavy lifters use free weights or machines? Can you still get good results lifting heavy using weight machines (i.e. pec fly, seated row, shoulder press, front lat pulldown, chest press)? These are the machines I'm currently using. I agree with Scott. You definitely need more carbs to fuel your workouts and brain! Sounds like your "brain drain" may even be hypoglycemia??

I had a bruschetta boca veggie burger with lettuce, tomato and avocado on whole wheat bun and a baked sweet potato w/ 0 kcal butter spray, pepper and grated parmesan. SO YUMMY! I usually eat dinner around 7pm, but ate later today at 8pm.
