Same here, if there is something I really want (I'm getting away from labeling anything as bad though), I"ll have it but just figure it into my calorie allotment. Its a real eye opener though about how quickly those calories add up!

This is my MY personal opinion, but I don't buy the eating back exercise calories (I don't lose wt when I do that) Be patient, we all lose wt at different speeds and 2 weeks really isn't long enough to be worried about no wt loss. Again JMO.

Have you asked her why she acts/says the things she does toward you and your goals? I think I"d be up front and tell her how you feel. Maybe she's just worried that she will lose you as a friend? Just because she is "fit" doesn't mean she has a lot of confidence.

If I had to choose, I"d say dumbells, they are cheaper.
