Congrats to you, you've done a fantastic job! You have every right to be proud of yourself. You are truly an inspiration. I've been feeling "down" this week because I've gotten slack again on my diet, but seeing your post gave me some determination to keep trying to get it right. You are a very strong, determined woman to…

For some reason I have no energy this evening, got my wt training done (barely) my cardio was a joke! I hate when I feel like this. It feels like I'm moving in slow motion. I think it's mainly due to hubby and I camping a couple days and eating quick and easy food.

For me, I do NOT add back exercise calories unless I'm truly hungry Have you tried separating cardio and wts,? Cardio and light wts do nothing for me, I went back to heavy training and 30 mns of cardio, separately. Weigjht training always comes first for me if I have to choose between the 2. I do cardio only if I have the…

I've been lifting (I prefer the term training) for 30+ yrs. I've tried all different styles of training, but always go back to heavier lifting. Even though I've allowed myself to gain way too much weight, I've always stuck with weight training of some kind. web sites I like: bodybuilding Nia Shanks strong lifts McCoy…

I'm back "again". I do so much better when I keep track of my calories, but I'm on the computer all day at work and hate to log on when I get home...so I'm going to log on from work (until the internet police get me anyway, lol) I need to lose at least 40lb (50 would be great!) I'm hitting the weights hard and heavy. Heavy…

Trying to get back in the groove again....same wt, but bigger in the belly, WTH???? I bought a fitbit a yr ago and was using fitbit website for logging, but it was so frustrating because the food data base is so friggin small. Got tired of having to look up every single thing I ate and just quit logging period All my…

This is me....I haven't logged in a long time but am starting back today. I keep my diary private (and always will) When I do log, I get results (lose wt) but when I quit logging I gain it back. I just get tired of logging tho...I'm on a computer all day at work and when I'm at home don't want to get on the computer again.…

Need some motivation myself! Glad to see this thread. Work has been so hectic lately, I get even more tired just THINKING about training, but I made myself train anyway last night and was so glad I did. Sore and heck today tho...

try visiting some body building websites for more ideas, check out wetwolf training. I've been wt trainng for nearly 30 yrs so I know what you mean about boredom. Some people don't get bored with the same exercises, I do (don't know if that's a good or bad thing)

4-6 x a week, 30-45 mns. I have a desk job so I feel that its necessary to do cardio

I do, have for yrs. My brother built me a squat rack yrs ago, hubby recently made me a pull up bar (I still struggle with pull ups/chin ups) I really dislike the gym scene. I do on occasion workout in the gym here at work just for something different (lat machine) and thankfully when I go no one is in there so I can get…

This is just one reason why I prefer lifting heavy.....less time training, more time for LIFE

I need to lose 50 lbs, love heavy wt training, BUT I sit in front of a computer 40+ hrs a week. IMO my wt training is NOT enough for ME. I do cardio 4-6x a week, but I rarely do Hiit it wears me out too much to lilft as heavy as I'd like. I take "expert" opinions with a grain of salt. I read a lot about health, fitness,…
