Congratulations on the loss of 73 pounds!! Fantastic. I understand your frustration on the "rolls" though. It will get better. My guess would be that you need to really concentrate on the exercise. Both aerobic and strength. Weight training will really help tone, but it takes quite awhile to see results. Hang in there. You…

Welcome! This is a great site full of tips and motivation. You can do it!

Drink a glass of water before your meal. Portion out the correct amount of food on your plate before you start eating, then put the rest of the food away so you won't go back for more. When you've had the correct portion, go brush your teeth! You will not want to eat anymore after that!

Congratulations to all of you who quit smoking!! A huge accomplishment and something to be proud of! One more step to being healthy!!

Drink lots of water. I like air popped popcorn. An apple with peanut butter or Laughing Cow Cheese is good, too.

"The harder I work today, the easier it will be tomorrow." I like it! Mine is "The Time Is Now!". It worked for the Dallas Mavericks!

If you are interested in learning about vitamins, Andrew Lessman will be on HSN tonight and periodically throughout the weekend. He makes his own vitamins which I believe to be the best source around. Even if you don't buy from him, he is a wealth of knowledge.

That is great that you figured out what was bothering you! So glad you are feeling better. You are on your way to good health!

Just tell yourself you are only going to exercise for 5 minutes and before you know it you will get into it and want to do more! Drink lots of water!

Welcome! And yes, you can do this without surgery. I've only been on a week but the support here is fantastic!

Welcome! I've only been on about a week and I love it too!

I have an Omron. Not sure what the model is but I really like it and it seems accurate. I found this info on the web: http://www.thewalkingsite.com/10000steps.html "Maybe you have heard the recent guidelines about walking 10,000 steps per day. How far is 10,000 steps anyway? The average person's stride length is…

It's hard to sleep when you are hungry. I like to have a piece of high fiber bread with a little peanut butter on it if I am really hungry. I think it is fine to eat before bed if you don't go over your allotted calories. Hope you find something that works for you!

That's funny. I have a scale in the kitchen and I do weigh myself a few times a day. I don't know what I expect to happen because only once was my weight lower in the afternoon than in the morning! Do whatever helps you stay motivated. If it gets you down to keep looking at the scales, then stay off of it for a week. I…

Welcome and congratulations on taking this step. This isn't a diet, but a lifestyle change. You will become aware of how much you are consuming and will start to make better choices. My advice would be to just make a goal this first week of just logging everything you eat or drink and not worry so much about the calories.…

Congratulations! What an awesome feeling to be down a size or two! Keep up the good work!

Congratulations for taking that first step into the veggie world! There are so many good choices. Try some carrot sticks next. They are a little sweet and crunchy! Maybe try a sweet potato! Loads of nutrition. Keep up the good work!!

Recently I have been making my own blue cheese dressing. Just mix a wedge of the Laughing Cow Blue Cheese flavor with a little plain yogurt, some garlic powder and a dash of black pepper and pour over salad. Yum!

Welcome! I just joined last week, so I'm new here, too! I'm enjoy the Wii Fit and just recently started using it again after a long break. What is your favorite thing to do on the Wii Fit? I did a bike ride tonight and the Advanced Step.

Have you recently moved your balance board? Sometimes that makes mine mess up. It also depends on carpet, floor, etc. Your best bet is to get a simple scale and compare the two. Also, make sure you register how heavy your clothes are. What is your favorite activity on the Wii Fit?

Hi! I'm new here, too. I've been logging for about a week and I really like this site. My suggestion would be to not worry too much about your calories for a few days, but just log absolutely everything you eat. Just get it down and you can later look at your diet and see where you can make some healthier changes. Another…

Take some time to just be still and BREATHE. Deep, calming, relaxing breaths. You not only have to take care of yourself, but also your precious son. The wine could be causing your headaches, both from dehydration and sulfites. Wine won't help your sleep, either. Also, if something were to happen during the night you need…

Hey, I'm new here and was looking for others who enjoy the Wii Fit. I do the running on my mini-trampoline while going down the "wii fit" path. It is a lot easier on your feet, knees and legs and helps me "run" longer. Hope that helps someone!
