Hope I can still join! I'm going to be optimistic and try for 100 miles. This may change because I have another DVD coming in from Amazon, however at the moment her 4 fast miles DVD is my main workout DVD. Good luck and looking forward to my first challenge! August Walking at Home Challenge: Miles Walked To Date: 4 miles…

Absolutely love this post. We should make an "August is my b*tch" group :D!

Hey girls, I don't have too many friends on mfp as yet, so feel free to add me!

Hey there! I know the feeling of dispair and being unhappy with one's self. I have diabetes and high cholesterol and high blood pressure in my family and am so worried that it will catch up with me. I wasn't so worried before, but after I got married and had a kid, my priorities changed. Feel free to add me! I'll try to…

The only time I don't log my food is when I have absolutely NO idea what the caloric intake was. Sometimes I try to guestimate and put a quick calorie number, but like when I go to a restaurant, I just leave it blank and deal with the scale the next day!

Divide 500 calories by 100. That would get you how many calories per gram. Then multiply it by 150g. So, 500 calories/100g =5 calories per gram. Then mutiply 5 calories x 150 grams = 750 calories per 150g. You can use that formula for anything, divide your value by 100 (if it's per 100g) to get the per gram value and then…

Aww hun, I don't know what may be the reason, but I didn't want to read and run. Yesterday broke down because I had been working so hard the last week and I may have been hurting my progress unknowingly by not eating enough calories (understating my calories based on MFPs generic entries rather than actual burn). So,…

I have both the Zumba DVDs and Walk Slim with Leslie Sansone and I can honestly say that I prefer Leslie Sansone. I also have 30 Day Shred and I found that too difficult for me (admittedly I haven't tried it since I lost a bit more weight, so that may not be true now). I feel kinda stupid doing Zumba when my hubby is at…

I'm absolutely loving Leslie Sansone. I just started doing her Walk Slim DVD this week. Started with the 1 to 2 mile one on the first day, and then tried the 4 fast mile the next day. I've done the 4 fast mile one three times this week and am really enjoying it. During the boosted walking, on one of the moves, I do the low…

I have the same problem with my scale. Thought the battery was going. Changed that and I still have the same problem. It can differ to almost a kilo for me. I ordered a new one online the other day and hoping it arrives soon so that I can see the difference. Dreading that it'll tell me I'm two kilos heavier than my old…

Mine is a nice even number that pretty much just takes me into normal BMI.

I am at 1200 myself. I find that when I'm watching what I eat, I find it hard to make the 1200, especially if I've exercised during the day. It's now 4pm here and I still have 869 calories to go! I should probably eat something, don't want to go into starvation mode!
