  • So after an injury set me back, I will not be able to run the ToT race in October.:sad: I have officially signed up for my first race though. Animal Welfare Association is a local rescue group and they are doing a 5k fund raiser. Along with being a DA, I am also an avid dog lover. I currently have 2 of my own and 3 fosters…

  • I have never done any run events of any kind. I'm going to to the ToT 10-miler this October. 10 months to train!

  • The real trick is getting in a workout that gets you under 1200 calories. You can eat more than 1200, but you have to be willing to work them back off. Weights do little to burn calories unless you are doing low weight and high reps with little to no break between exorcises. The elliptical machine give you a good burn.
  • I stick with the egg whites. I add salsa (homemade is best) and turkey sausage. Very low cal. and high in protein.
  • I have decided to do the Tower of Terror 10-mile run in October. Not only will I be working to drop some pound, and by some I mean a lot, but I have to get my heart and lungs ready for a 10 mile run! I'm hoping to do my first 5k run in April or May. Should be "fun".
