These are things I've worked on with my physician, and she agrees that the 145 range is not (safely) attainable or healthy for me. Obviously 300+ isn't healthy either, which is why I'm working on coming way down from that number. 200lbs for me is a comfortable goal weight because it is meant to take into account the PCOS…

I feel like anyone who clicked the "disagree" tag should message me and tell me why they thought so. I weighed 145lbs at 5'7" as a freshman in high school and was clearly not at a good weight for my large frame. Now at 35 years old, more than twice that weight, and two inches taller I'm also clearly not at a good weight!…

Well, I'm 5'9" myself and trying to pare down to 200lbs. That being said, I have a number of factors that play into that seemingly high goal weight. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome- this means my body produces more testosterone than a female without PCOS. That translates to, in my case, a very large skeletal structure…

I miss my dog. I hate leaving her at home when I have to go to work and be out of the house for twelve+ hours a day. I work in a heavy equipment garage, which is not a dog-friendly environment.

Hi, everybody. @MyVictory2020's post popped up on my feed and that led me here. I'm Angela, and I'm on my third or fourth restart here. This time I'm at an all-time high weight of almost 304lbs, which obviously is not sustainable. I'm 5'9", have PCOS (yay!), SW304/GW200. Let's go!

I'm right there with you- I have 104 to go.

I actually really love classic literature, unless it's written by anyone with the surname "Bronté" or "Eyre." I have even read much of Tolstoy's works.

As my dear GarnetMemory said, yes- totally worth it.

Well, it's not like I don't care about my caloric intake while at faire; I'm just less obsessive about it since I am exercising literally all day. I specifically love having things like sea salt peanuts, almonds, pistachios, dried cherries, dried cranberries, fresh apples, fresh strawberries, cheddar cheese, hard breads,…

Honestly I don't try all that hard at faire. Between working for a very busy vendor, helping out with Guild and Hostel stuff, privy runs, and visiting, I am on my feet all. day. long. Sure, there are a ton of food options for sale from food vendors, but I'm cheap so I stop at the grocery before my weekend starts and fill…

I can't remember if I've posted in here before and I'm too lazy to read all eight pages to check. I have a Diva Cup. I am in love. It did take some getting used to but I never had a hard time with it. Then I lost it. Like, I seriously cannot find the blesséd thing. So I went and bought a pack of SoftCups. For one reason or…

I am an early bird and DBF is a sleepyhead. I always wake up way before he does and run to the bathroom to wee and to brush my teeth. Then I crawl back into bed (he sleeps like the dead, so no fear of waking him) and wait for him to wake up. Then, when he's all ready to go, I have nice fresh toothies.
-
I brush. I don't like the way my mouth feels if I haven't brushed. ...sticky, you know?

I have very thick, very long hair. Seriously- the ends fall at mid-thigh. Before I became a bit of a gym rat, I would go seven to ten days between washes. My scalp isn't terribly oily, and I like to stretch the wash schedule because it's better for my hair. However, I am now in the gym a lot. I still shampoo and condition…

Not for my wedding, but for my brother's. He and my darling SIL-to-be (who is on here as well) are getting married on 4 August. Oh, my Mom just joined, too, so hopefully we will be able to all motivate each other.

I’m a bi girl, so I feel I’m welcome to throw my hat into this ring. I prefer a girl with some meat on her bones- soft curves, busty- and fairly tall. Incidentally this is what I am hoping to look like when I’m at my GW.
-
...wow. You're amazing. You're just about my goal weight- started at 280 and working towards 200lbs. Congratulations! You look amazing and I'm sure you feel even better than that! Also, you are gorgeous. Such a lovely face.
-
I'm 5'9" and my GW is 200lbs. I started at 280lbs and am currently in the high 240's. I am aiming for that 200lbs mark, but once I get there I will reassess my goals.

Cool *and* dorky, which to my mind is a seriously hot combination. Go. For. It.

Hi, everyone! Oh, some fun responses in here. I have my very valid reservations about Locks of Love, but I don't want to get all huffy about them in this forum. Let's just say I get very vocal when someone says to me "Oh, your hair is beautiful! Why don't you donate it to Locks of Love?" I'll post a photo soon.

I dislocated and broke my right kneecap in January of 2011. I had surgery to remove the bone fragments (well, chunks, really) in March of 2011. Due to the nature of the break (I broke off the ridge on the back of the patella), my patella slips out of place now and then. I wear a brace…

Nope. I live two miles from my gym, so I hop in the truck, drive home, toss my gym gear in the laundry, and run nekkid up the stairs to have a shower.

Ladies who wear shoulder-grazing chandelier earrings. Those things make a lot of noise. Tittering high school girls who snicker at my size 16 body at the gym. Okay, sweetheart, we aren't all perfectly fit teenagers. But you shut your damn mouth, because I am making an effort to better myself. I won't always be fat, but you…

BANG BANG You shot me! Very, very nice arms.

Wow, 150lbs! That's fantastic! Congratulations!!
