Hi everyone! I'm Dani, and I just turned 49 last month. 2022 has a lot of upcoming changes for me--I'm finishing up classes to make a career change, so will be starting a new path soon! Once I get the new job, I'm hoping to start planning to do some remodeling and updating in my house, so need to get my life and finances…

Ok here we go! I am 48, 5'3" and I really don't want to be fat at 50, so I need to get my butt in gear and get the weight off! My goals are simple--Eat Less, Move More! I try to remind myself every day that I am worth the work it takes to get healthy and fit. I recently started trying to follow a Mediterranean diet--move…

Hello Everyone! I'm Dani, 48 years old, 5'3", divorced mom of 2 almost adult kids, and I have decided that I want to be "Fit By 50"! Starting Weight: 222lbs Goal for May: lose 1-2lbs/week (if more falls off, so be it!) Ultimate Goal Weight: 125lbs My daily goals are to drink more water, move more, and to be more mindful of…

HI everyone, I know that April is almost over, so I'm just going to jump in where I am and be SO READY to start fresh with you in May! My current weight is 218, my goal weight is 130-ish, and my first small goal is to just get below 200lbs!

I can totally relate. I eat when I'm bored, or stressed, or whenever! I have all good intentions when I wake up every day--drink more water, eat less, move my *kitten* more, be more mindful and purposeful of what I am putting into my body to fuel my day--but I still find myself grazing all day on junk or just overeating in…

I totally can relate. I have all good intentions when I wake up in the morning--limit snacking, make good healthy food choices, drink a lot of water, get up and move my *kitten* during the day--but then I find myself grazing on snacks through the day and eating whatever I feel like. I KNOW what I need to do, but I need to…

I am trying to find my motivation again. I was down 12lbs, and a few have crept back in. I am starting from today (again), so my mini goal is to lose 10. Then I just need to do that 8 more times, and I'm at my goal! :)

I weigh daily because it really does help keep me motivated. If I only do it once a week, then I tend to slack off for half the week and then panic/starve/workout like crazy the couple of days before the weigh-in. If I do it daily, it helps keep me on track every day.
-
Excellent! I have 16lbs to go until I hit ONEderland. I can't wait to not see a 2-something when I get on the scale!
-
I want to just stay on track and keep doing what I'm doing. Every day my mini goals are to eat better, eat less, move more. Drink more water. If I can keep it up and stay on track through the holidays, I will be in ONEderland by Jan 1. Fingers crossed!

I've been dealing with some rough stuff in my personal life, and as a result, haven't been logging, have been eating like crap, and hardly exercising. Thankfully things are getting back to normal. Hope everyone has a great week!
-
Good morning friends. I have been a slacker--had a rough couple of weeks personally, and ate too much and was lazy too much, but things are back to normal now. Hope everyone has a great week!

Good morning! Hope everyone has a great day today!
-
Bleh--yesterday I ate all the things. The scale screamed at me this morning. Going to drink a metric butt-load of water today, get some exercise tonight and fingers crossed for tomorrow.
-
UGH--Had a crap day yesterday and ate some feelings. The scale went back up today, and damn it was ugly. Today's a new day, right?

I'm in--A bit late, but still plenty of time! Starting weight:224 (as of 1/1/20) Goal weight: 174 by the end of 2020 Current weight: 217 Total weight lost: 7lbs This week's successes: Started logging food consistently and didn't snack as much, drank more water. This week's challenges: Yesterday had way too many tacos and…

Sounds like everyone is doing something productive and/or fun this weekend! I spent about 90 minutes at the gym, then came home and got to work on a paper for my class. My big Friday night is laundry and studying--this sucks! :)

I fully support petty revenge as a motivator! I'm of the same mind--the wedding I'm going to in October? Ex-hubby will be there too, and I want to be a damn BOMBSHELL in my dress on the arm of my handsome new fella.

Congrats! That's a great accomplishment! Keep up the good work! My "shoot for" goal for 2020 is to lose 75 lbs, more if I can manage it, but my "settle for" goal is 1lb/week. Feel free to add me and let's kick 2020's butt!
