Me too!! I am 44, started at 222, and am down to 211. My first goal is to get under 200, then I'll set 10lb goals from there! My ultimate goal is around 125ish. It's a lot less scary if I break it into small chunks!

Yeah, I use MapMyWalk when I walk to get an accurate record of distance walked and how long I walked, and then I plug that info into a pace calculator (http://www.calculator.net/pace-calculator.html). I get all kinds of wonky paces like "2.96mph" or "3.14mph"--lol. I usually round down to play it on the safe side.

There are water aerobics classes at the Y or other gyms with pools that you do in the deep end, and you wear a flotation belt kind of thing to keep you afloat. I want to try one, because they look so fun!
