Ezekial Bread, all natural, high in protein and low in sodium. This is also what my trainer suggests. Prior to switching to Ezekial I used Sara Lee 45 & Delightful Whole Grain.

I agree with those that say listen to your trainer. Yes you are paying him, but if you knew what to do to get in shape you wouldn't have hired him. If your doing straight cardio you want to shoot for between 80-90%, 85% would be optimum. I only do straight cardio 1x a week and strive to be at that HRM for at least 20 mins of my work out. On my other cardio day I do Interval trainging.

I generally burn more then that, but I'm also pretty big. Also I have noticed, the machine read out is much lower then my HRM read out and when I just do Cardio on the Elliptical my burn is less then if I do interval training.

I was referring more to ladies under 5' when I said small. I also work a desk job and figure my BMR as sedentary since I eat back my exercise calories.

You may want to have another talk with your trainer. 1200 calories a day is low, esp if you're doing intensive workouts. I have yet to meet a trainer that recommends a low calorie diet. It's a split for me, I'm part of a group on FB that spun off of here that I spend a lot of time on, but by far my fitness groups is where I spend 90% of my online time at.

My trainer recommends this and since I work out in the late afternoon, I generally have dinner within that time frame after working out.
