Does your other half: Do an equal share of the housework when he/she is home? He'll do anything I ask him to and if I've let it go he'll pitch in without me asking. Cook for you?occasionally he'll make breakfast, that's the extent of his culinary skills. Go food shopping? He'll go with me but unless it's just a quick stop…

HAHA Me too, my kids make fun of e and tell me I do it wrong. Whatever, it works :)

Mine's similar also. I can not watch anything scary not even a commercial, I can't look out a darkened window and I absolutely can not get out of bed in the dark or look into/walk past a mirror in the dark. My husband works out of town so I'm home alone (with my kids) most nights, if I do any of these things I'll not sleep…

I was at Curves for 5 months, using a Smart card so the resistance increased as needed. I just started at the new gym working with these machines that are actual weight and not resistance machines. I do strength every other day and Cardio on the opposite days. Thanks for the info, I'll definitely ask the Trainer about…

Between 100-125oz a day. I do use the restroom a lot, but I figure that's a good thing. I've also been told you should drink 1/2 your weight in ounces plus and additional 8oz for every 20 mins of exercise. For me that equals between 106-118oz a day depending on my workout.

I set my Fiber goal for 25g day and average around 30g. 16g is too low for sure!

The gym I go to has Nautilus Circuit Training machines. I've been doing the entire circuit, right now 1 set of 12 reps on each machine. Which is what was suggested by the trainer that showed me how to use the equipment. For the arm machines I've been averaging about 20lbs, back machines about 35lbs and leg machines about…

I did, I figured with my Insurance paying 1/2 my Curves membership the new gym costs are covered. They are pretty simple, once you figure out proper form, and I'm still adjusting and figuring out how much weight I need. I do think you're right about me being more fit then I thought, I was able to do some stuff that 6…

I like Harvestland & Jennie-O Turkey Burgers. I much prefer the fresh patties to the frozen.

I read IT when I was in 6th grade and had broke my leg, I'd lay in bed terrified crying for someone to come help me up 'cuz I wasn't able to get up and down by myself. Scared me for life, my now 12year old has seen the movie (at her dad's) and finds it hilarious that to this day I still have a fear of clowns and sewer…

Right now I'm on the 3rd book in the Inheritance Cycle, Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. I recently finished the series The Stone of Tears by Terry Goodkind . I've also read HP along with Twilight, The House of Night & Hunger Games with in the last year. I'm always sad when I finish up a series, I feel like I'm saying…

My last name is Loomis-Beaver, years ago when I waitressed some co-workers started calling me Loombeav and it stuck.

My gym has a Sauna, when I took a tour I was told about it and how it could be used after a workout for relaxation. At no point did anyone mention I could get a workout from using it. It's not exercise, therefore not burning enough calories to track. If you enjoy the Sauna by all means use it, but I surely would not be…

Angry Birds, I've been staying up way too late wasting time playing.

Me too, I always go with the 100% Whole Wheat.

Loved the episode and getting to know the back story of Gold. I really thought there was going to be more to the fire then there was, but I do like how they played it to have Emma stand up to Mr. Gold.

I lived in upstate NY till I was 6 then was raised in OH. I moved to NC when I was 24, people in NC ask me where I'm from all the time and those from NY or OH often will ask what part of that state I'm from. Now when I go home to visit, my family all make fun of me saying that I talk like a Southerner. Honestly I don't…

Mine is open to my friends, not to the rest of MFP. I have nothing to hide, and am very honest when logging, I welcome comments and constructive criticism from my friends, but my husbands ex- girlfriend has a tendency to cyber stalk me so I keep all of online profiles set to private, this includes my diary.

I love my Saucony's, although I don't run I was told when I was looking for a pair for my daughter for track that they are great for runners. She ended up going with a pair of Asics, said they were a bit more comfortable on her.

I agree, sugar is sugar, but having said that a piece of fruit which contains natural sugars is whole lot healthier for you than something processed with the same amount of refined sugars in it. I try to eat more veggies than fruits for just this reason.

1st thing I had to do was realize there would be no quick fix and I had to stop looking for the easy way to lose the weight. I told everyone I socialize with what my goals are to help me accountable, I joined a gym and I take it a day at a time. I follow a weight management plan that works for me, I don't restrict anything…

I graduated in 1994 and weighed 118lbs, which was too thin. I'm now at 189lbs, my heaviest was 219lbs and my goal is between 135-140lbs.

Every single one of these is a great tip! We eat out a lot also and I follow all of these.
-
I follow the same rules when eating out as I do at home, nothing fried or slathered in butter. Sauces and dressings on the side. No bacon or croutons (or other extremely high cal/fat additions) on my salad. I make healthier choices when available and limit my portion sizes. If there is something I really want I have it in…

Here's a site that I love that lists several of the benefits of drinking water. http://www.mangosteen-natural-remedies.com/benefits-of-drinking-water.html

While it's true that it is not a magical fat flush and doesn't actually accelerate your weight loss, it does help. It helps flush toxins and sodium out of your system that tend to bloat you and make your retain fluid, when drank in place of fluids with calories (even ones with low cals) it reduces your caloric intake, when…

I'm so glad Monday is my normal weigh day, won't I be a happy girl :)

I'd stick with upper body for the time being, although I'd be sure to do some gentle stretching and light walks.
-
Those sound wonderful! I'll definitely be trying them soon!

I like food too much and exercise too little. I can think of 100 excuses as to why I'm overweight or I can look at it honestly and do something about it.
