Did your aunt get you the car or the garage door opener? I'm afraid neither are within my budget. Poor kid just survived her mother's second divorce, and I'm fairly certain she will not be getting a car of any sort. Wish I could do that for her!

Thanks for the great ideas!

My niece turns 16 Dec. 9. Of course her list for birthday and Christmas is : a car or money or a gift card to some of her favorite clothing stores. I don't mind the gift card for Christmas, but I'd like to do something special for her Sweet 16. My price range for b'days with nieces and nephews is $20-25. Any creative…

Girls, I'm feeling wimpy with my 10-15 lbs. on most exercises. Currently, all I have are 5 and 10 pound dumbbells, so I have to hold a 10 and 5 to do some exercises. I need to get heavier weights because my reps can push twenty sometimes. But 30s? :noway: Not yet, anyway  Today was Kenpo X. I like that one for some…

I'm interested to hear more about carb rotation.

Good morning. Back and Bi for me. My arm are a bit shaky, so typing is fun  My right elbow feels a bit off. Tomorrow will be Kenpo. Teena: You are a workout machine! Jenny: Hope work settles soon.
-
This morning was Plyo for me. That one always gets my HOUR up there. My calories burned was 425. I can't believe I am 2/3 done with Round One! Recovering week next week; I plan to do some running!
-
Welcome to a new week, everyone. Chest, shoulders, and tri for me this morning. I think this is a tough workout! My arms shake for quite awhile afterward. I am doing more push-ups, total, and a few more standard version each week. I find I burn the least amount of calories with this workout though. Have a great day!

Hello! Legs and Back for me. I struggled this morning, so I just did half. Came home and kicked butt to finish and do ARX. Hope today was better Jenny. Tena, glad you are feeling well again.
-
OP: They now have a Mike's Light- 98 calories a bottle. And after the day I've had, I may have one!

Good morning! Kenpo X for me. I switch this with Yoga. I prefer to do Yoga on the weekends. Bring it, ladies!
-
Home! Roll out of bed, throw on my workout clothes, and get to it! Don't have to worry about weather, running late, etc.

I'm not sure what the others have, for sure. I know the more expensive models will not interfere with other HRM and machines at the gym. I have had an F4 for two years, and I love it. It does what I need and want: tracks my HR through workouts and tells me calories burned. The only thing I wish it had was a light for when…

Hello all! Congratulations on the grandbaby on the way, Licia! I overslept this morning, didn't even hear the alarm. I think over a week without sunshine is taking its toll on me ::yawn: My students had a very rough day, also: tattling, arguing, just outright naughty, :explode: which is very out of character for my bunch…

Welcome back, Jenny! Sorry to hear you were sick, but glad you are feeling better. :flowerforyou: Licia, welcome. I stay within my calories, but I do not follow a "clean" diet, as of yet. So nutrition accountability would be good for me also.

Good morning! 423 calories gone thanks to Plyo! Have a great day, girls, BRING IT!
-
Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had lovely weekends. Chest, shoulders, tri for me this a.m. My upper arms feel like jello, it's even hard to type

Teena: Have fun with your grandson and Kenpo+. How wonderful to teach him the importance of fitness! Tiff: Good for you in getting the workouts in while out of town. That can be so difficult. It was Yoga and Ab Ripper for me today. I dread yoga for some reason, but it felt so good!!!!! My daughters are spending the night…

Tiff, welcome! It won't take long to be able to do all the ab work. I thought my abs were in pretty good shape, but I struggled through the first few times. I just started Phase 2 Monday, and Ab Ripper is going pretty well. I have to admit I haven't gotten it in every scheduled day, either. Today is my comp. day from…

Good morning! Kenpo X and Ab Ripper for me today. It was scheduled for Yoga, but I am going to do that Saturday when I have more time. I am quite sluggish today. It is conference week, which means long hours. And I am having some female issues, which it just dawned on me could be contributing to my lethargy. I am getting…

Rachel: Good for you for finding an alternative to getting your exercise in, and not giving up on yourself. Another idea, at least until the new discs arrive: could you do the suggested maintenance workouts in the P90X manual? That looks like it drops WO time in about half. Jess: Thanks for the tip on the pull-ups. I am…

Good morning! Back and Bi for me. I am working on form for pull ups. Our bar is in our basement, which has low ceilings, and I need the chair so I am working out some kinks on those exercises. My tris are still feeling Mondays workout  I love Plyo too. I was dripping sweat myself, but I only burned 370 cals. I got…

Morning-and I hate mornings! If I wait until after work, there is no guarantee it will get done. And if I do try to work out, it seems there are interruptions. Plus, our family often has evening activities. I eat half a banana, and then hit it! Also, this way I don't feel I am taking time away from my DH and daughters.
-
Welcome, Tena! You look fantastic! I am just starting Phase 2, I'm not seeing dramatic results yet, but I'm hoping to in these next 30 days. Today I did Plyo and ARX, since I didn't get abs in yesterday. Plenty of energy to get through a day of teaching and an evening of parent teacher conferences! Rachel, did you get your…

Hello! Where has everyone been?!? Jenny: How is the remodeling project going? Were you able to get your Kenpo in during your work from home day? I did the complete Yoga X in one sitting for the first time every Saturday. Once I get through the first 50 minutes, I'm set! Did some running over the weekend too. It felt…

My eight year old has been fascinated with Nancy Drew ever since seeing the movie last year. Her biggest wish for Christmas this year is a Nancy Drew Sleuth Bag. I asked her what one was and she proceded to describe a messenger/satchel type bag and gave me a list of 12 items to go in it-including a tin for goodies! I am…

I enjoy both; I'm a fair weather outdoor runner-don't like to be too hot or too cold  n But I love having the scenery and different challenges. With it dark in the early mornings, I tend to run on the TM. I catch up on tv watching since I don't usually do it otherwise. I catch up on any shows I like on-line.
-
Renae-I'm going to try that right now! Arewethereyet-I'm going for those good lookin' arms! And I've got just the right black dress to show of that back, once I notice results like you've gotten

Strawberry: Welcome back and congrats on your recovery! Hessied: Your times amaze me :flowerforyou: Jess; how was the movie? My girls would also like to see it. Enjoy your run tomorrow! I came home from our Halloween party at school yesterday and went for a 4.5 mile run through a local park. Beautiful! The weather is so…
