Be sure you are fueling your body correctly during your eating window; get enough macros and calories. As the previous poster suggested, start with a smaller window and gradually increase. Drink plenty of water.

You can quick add calories and select which meal those calories fit in, but not select actual foods. You can also add water. Hope that helps.

I like to mix mine with a small banana, cup of unsweetened almond milk, PB2 (powdered peanut butter), a bit of water and ice. Blend and enjoy! It's also good with strawberries. I know some use the protein powder to make some balls or bars, but I haven't tried that.

Bump! Love this thread

You can absolutely do it! I think the half marathon distance is my favorite! I agree with the previous poster about Runner's World training programs, although there are many other great training programs out there too. I believe that is the key. Find a schedule that fits your life. Commit. Follow through. And enjoy…

Fantastic! What a great goal!

There are many great training programs out there. Look up Jeff Galloway or Hal Higdon. The Smart Coach program through Runner's World is great! You can access it on-line or there is an app. I've used it to try for a couple of 20k races, as well as a half. Just set up my first full training program

I'll be curious to see the advice given. I'm planning to start training for my first marathon after the first of the year.

Super fun 7 mile cross country race the Saturday before Thanksgiving! Can't wait

So excited!! Our town, which is largely a retirement community, just passed a bond issue to remodel our aging, decrepit, nasty high school!! Our community traditionally is very resistant to bond issues for school improvement. Whoot!!

Beautiful 11 mile run this morning over a new trail. So good to see so many people of all ages and sizes out enjoying the day and being active. The weather was perfect, which make a run so much easier  My half is October 16... six weeks away!

Flausa: wonderful job!! Congratulations!!!

Great combination  Good luck with the unpacking.

What an awesome burn for that workout! Do you wear the weighted gloves?

Not dorky at all! This spring I was involved in a thread of TF users. We posted our workouts daily and encouraged one another. Kmartinko: TF is like TJ on steroids  I love it! If you like Chalene, you will love TF!
-
I just jumped right in. Who cares what you look like, right

I've been focusing on my running lately, but this morning I did TF 45. I love that one, especially the boyfriend song. I struggled throughout, I think because I ran 10 miles on Sunday and this is my first week back at work. I'm not getting nearly enough sleep.

Yesterday and today were back to school conferences. Normally the kids are a bit quiet and shy. Not this year. Chatty from the get go....makes me a bit nervous, I'll admit. Tomorrow is the first day with kids. I need to go back through and read posts. What is the challenge? Have a great school year everyone!

I just found this thread. I teach second grade in Iowa. I'm 41, married, and a mother of two girls: 11 and 16. I'm actually preparing to do a presentation on Harry Wong's "First Days of School" at our inservice meeting tomorrow. Had the opportunity to see the Wongs and Chelonnda Seroyer in June. Phenomenal!! I have to…

I do both, and also run and CLX. Love Chalene!!

I ran 9 miles yesterday. I have to say every step was a struggle! It is so strange that some days you can run forever and other days every step is torture. It was more a mind struggle than a body one. UGH! I stopped and took breaks. Terrible run, but I got it done!
-
Good for you! that is wonderful!

I wish she would! My daughter has a really nice stride, but she does not enjoy running! My other daughther (11 years), on the other hand, might some day. She loves to run! And she can smoke a 5k! Have a great run! It sounds like it is beautiful up there!

Are you running the Traverse City 15K. My daughter is on her way to MI with family friends who own a cabin up there. The mother, my good friend, is going to run that!

I am so off my training schedule! I went to Nashville for a conference this week. I took my workout clothes with every intention of hitting the fitness room/treadmill. Didn't happen! We went downtown in the evenings and wandered the honkeytonks, so I was too tired/lazy to get up and go in the mornings. Too old for 1:00 or…
