Yep, same here. Thought it was a problem with the app but it's the website too. The scanner seems to work, and anything in my list of recently added foods I can add again, but the search function isn't working. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Yeah, I'm with you on this. Registries are a kind of tricky etiquette thing. Because of course you're appreciative of whatever someone buys for you. But when you've taken the time to pick out specific things on a registry, the etiquette really is for the gift buyer to stick to that list. (I usually like to get something…

Morning, girls! I'm at 31w5d, and let me tell you, I am READY for this kid to be out of me. I can't get a full night's sleep because of hip pain and randomly waking up between 230-3am every night. (Prepping for overnight feedings? Oh body, you sneaky *kitten*...) This little boy is already sitting really low on me so all…

Ooh, I haven't heard of that before but now I'm excited to try it. I love my tea and I was getting paranoid about drinking the wrong kind of herb or something accidentally. Thanks!

My doc hasn't mentioned it to me but I swear I have this too. Whenever I flex my abs, like, to lay down or get up, there's this weird bulge in the middle that looks like how Diastisis is described in books and stuff. It doesn't hurt but it's definitely weird to see, and I'm going to be looking into how to do damage control…

Nice to know I'm not alone, haha!

Yep, my nausea came back in about the last month with my first. Good times, right? Ugh.

The first tri is all about making it through. I was so nauseous with both my kids during that time that all I could do was eat whatever didn't make me want to vomit and shuffle from home to work to home/bed. Once that went away, I was able to add more activity back in and start feeling more like myself. Give you and your…

I'm right there with you, I've got 2 months to go and I've already hit the number I wanted to max out at! My plan is to keep my cals to about 2000 a day and be diligent about getting 20-30min of exercise at least 3 days a week. I'm not allowed to do anything too strenuous at this point, but I can at least make a point of…

Hi all, I'm due Jan 9 with my second, a boy this time, and my daughter is 3.5yo. I'm at 29w3d and I've basically gained all the weight I wanted to gain with this pregnancy. I'm hovering between 35-40lbs already and freakin' hating it. I'm trying to make healthy choices and stay as active as possible but I feel like I just…

This is my new favorite post. :D Congrats! Such a good feeling! :drinker:

Bump to this. That's exactly what I was going to say. Most of us are carrying not just extra pounds but extra emotional baggage that plays into what and how much we eat. If you've trained yourself to eat less and exercise more, but haven't addresses the emotional/mental side of why you want to overeat in the first place,…

Okay, been a while since I updated my stats here: Pre-pregnancy weight: 159.9 Height: 5'9" Found out I was pregnant at 4.5 weeks Week 5: 160 Week 7: 162-ish Week 9: 163.3 Week 10: 165.2 Week 13: 167.4 Week 14: 167.4 Week 15: 169.4 I'm not pleased about the 2lbs jump since last week. I've made it my goal to gain no more…

I heart this response.

This. Where I, personally, feel the problem comes in, and what I believe the author, in her own snarky awful way, was getting at, was that it's socially acceptable to point out that a child, for example, has a problem with reading and needs help. Yet to suggest that an overweight person has a problem and needs help is…

+1 It is SO much about loving ourselves enough to be ready to change. Shaming yourself or others never works, it only makes the problem worse.

I struggle with this issue. I am 100% behind the truth that what a person looks like, be it their size, color, dress, whatever, should not determine their worth in society, and that just because you're overweight doesn't mean you suddenly have to start dressing in garbage bags and being ashamed of yourself. But. As someone…

I go through phases when I'm super active in the forums I join and then not so much for a while. I do love a good chit-chat my group members, though!

I got the idea from a board on MFP for pregnant ladies, it may have even been this one, that setting the MFP goal to a .5lbs/week LOSS was actually a good way to stay on track, at least in the first tri, with eating enough to stay satisfied without gaining a million pounds in the first 12 weeks. So far I think it's been…

Pre-pregnancy weight: 159.9 Height: 5'9" Found out I was pregnant at 4.5 weeks  Week 5: 160 Week 7: 162-ish Week 9: 163.3 I haven't been weighing myself every week, but I'm pleased with how I'm doing so far. I haven't had the energy AT ALL to exercise, but I've set my MFP cals to a .5lbs/week loss, and that seems to…

I've been wondering about this too, so I'm loving these ideas. My daughter will be almost 4 when I have my second. Since I'm not due until January I haven't really started thinking about the logistics of the hospital stay yet, though I'm assuming that the G-units will take turns watching her, and bring her for visits after…

This is the greatest comeback to fat comments ever. I will now use it all the time. Thank you.

Haha, omg, I hate people. I only laugh because it's like, that's such a ridiculous and over-the-top-rude thing to say, I almost can't even be mad at her, I'm just laughing at how dumb she is. Hold your head up, mama, don't let ridiculous people with no filter get to you. She probably thinks you guys are super best friends…

Our joints DO losen up to get ready for labor and fatigue is a real thing, so I feel you on this one. I'm only 7wks on right now so I'm still feeling okay, but from my first pregnancy, I would always feel better after doing a prenatal pilates DVD. They gear it towards the tri you're in so you can work out to your level and…

This. It's so true. When you feel yucky and exhausted it can be really hard to eat what you know you ought to or to do any form of exercise. My goal has been to eat as healthy as possible whenever I have the stomach for it, and allow myself to eat the cravings in mindful portions. Also, even though it doesn't feel like it,…

Wow, congrats to all you ladies on your 3rds! I'm also having to remind myself to eat more frequently these days or I start feeling sick. So many drastic changes. You can do it!

I'm only at 6w right now, so I'm battling some nausea and fatigue. I bring my gym bag to work every day, and on days when I feel okay by lunch time I'll do some uphill walking on the treadmill or a 30min program on the elliptical. I don't have the energy I used to, but I'm trying to keep the habit up and do something at…

I LOVE doing this! Especially when none of my other go-tos -- DVDs, gym routines, etc -- sound appealing. It makes working out like a hilarious dance party in my living room! And it's a fun way to involve the toddler.

Dang, wish I'd found this thread sooner. No matter, I'm still going to jump in for the rest of the month. Woohoo!
