  • I know its very late in the month but I'm jumping in! My goals for today: - Drink all my water - Get outside for a walk OR hit the spin bike, 30min - Read a book and make a cup of tea instead of snacking after dinner Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far! <3
  • My goal is to simply start running again, so I'm going to aim for 3 runs per week. Building the habit will be the biggest aim this month. :)
  • JFT Thursday 1. Drink my water 2. Workout for 30 min 3. Track calories in MFP It's almost the weekend, yay! Who has fit and active plans for the days off?
  • http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/KatieTee83 I love this idea. Thanks for starting the thread! I've been on and off MFP since having my first baby about 6 years ago. I lost the first round of weight, had another kid, and I'm now stuck about 25lbs from my pre-baby goal weight, so, I'm trying to get myself back in the…
  • A girlfriend of mine has been doing it this month and post pics of her meals on Facebook every day, it's got me excited about trying it. Thinking I will wait until the first of the month because I like things tidy like that. :D

  • That's me too! Hello, birthday twin!
  • I'm going to echo a lot of what's here -- string cheese; almonds; hard boiled eggs; greek yogurt, single serve hummus with pretzels; frozen turkey meatballs (3 for 160 cals!). I'm a snacky person too, so having lots of options is necessary! :D
  • My big goal this month is to lose 10 of the pounds I have left. But focusing on smaller goals to get me there -- 1. Five workouts per week, including 2-3 strength/conditioning workouts, 30-60min each 2. Log all food every day and keep to MFP cals 3. Curb late night snacking by any means necessary -- read a book, drink tea,…
  • Hi group! I'm looking to finish the month strong and do as much as I can to get myself back on track. End-of-Jan Goals: 1. Stick with my exercise plan as scheduled 2. Go to bed on time 3. Drink all my water during the day Obviously there's a vague goal in my brain to lose as many of the pounds that have crept back on as…
  • JFT Thursday 9/29 Motivation is lacking today, so... Drink 1 full water bottle during work day Refill and take home, drink another full bottle before bed (This is a 36oz bottle) Get up and take two walks during the day. Log what I eat.
  • JFT, 9/22/16 1. Log everything 2. Drink 4 big waters 3. Get outside and walk 4. Avoid the candy dish... Yesterday started out strong, but I basically forgot about what I was supposed to be doing by the middle of the afternoon, haha! So, back at it again today. Happy Thursday, ya'll! <3 :*
  • CICO = calories in, calories out, yes? Just to clarify. :)
  • Just for today I am going to: 1. go for a walk on at least one break during the day 2. drink 4 of the large glass I have for water at my desk 3. track all my cals 4. be kind to myself Here's to a brand new day, folks! B)
  • I've done it before but never finished it so I am on board to commit to October. I will probably set my calorie goal at 1400-1600 for the day, including exercise. That's seemed to work well for me in the past.
  • Jumping in mid-month! I've been running semi-regularly, just short runs on my lunch hour. But I'd like to start ramping up to a race later this year. Planned runs for the rest of the month come out at 23miles. Ready set go!
  • I'm going to freely admit that this annoys the heck out of me for like, purely high horse reasons, I think. I tend to run with pretty loud music, so generally I can't hear the conversation, but it just feels rude for some reason. Like, we're here to work out, dude. If you wanted to stroll and talk on the phone you could…
  • I know it's only 6 days in but January has been going really strong for me so far. I'm feeling great and super juiced about finally getting to my goals. Yay!!
  • I missed my December mark as well, so I'm ready to go hard this month. Going for minutes again, which keeps me accountable for doing some kind of exercise every day. o:)
  • I'm getting into a pretty consistent routine with hitting the gym on my lunch break, which nets me 30min at a time. It's nice to get up and out of the office for a while. What I like about setting myself a goal of minutes is that it sort of frees up the expectations of what exercise "counts" and what doesn't. For example,…
  • Hey group! Halfway through the month, how is everyone doing? I'm not quite on target, but I have been checking in almost every day, so that's progress. I figure you set big goals so that even if you fall short you've still gone a long way.
  • Made my goal minutes instead of miles, since I do all kinds of different cardio and I'd rather track that way. Get busy, girls!
  • Ooh, I'm jumping in on this. Today will be my first run since my 5k on thanksgiving, which is a bummer, but I'm excited to get back out there. Not sure yet what my monthly goal is going to be but I'll add myself to the spreadsheet. Southern California winters leave no excuses for not exercising. It's overcast here today,…
  • Starting weight: 186 Challenge Goal: 170 Ultimate weight loss goal: 160 Week 1(9/11): 186 Week 2(9/18): 190 -- dude Week 3(9/25): 188 Week 4(10/2): Week 5(10/9): Week 6(10/16): Week 7 (10/23): Week 8 (10/30): Week 9 (11/6): Week 10 (11/13): Week 11 (11/20): Okay, so clearly I've had a small backslide. I was feeling…
  • I am half and half -- I just want to fit back into my old clothes again, but I also know that that means being something like 160 for my 5'9'' frame. So that's a minimum. My ultimate goal is to hit 150, because I have been 160 and I know that I can trim down a size or two below that and be in awesome shape.
  • I love everything about this. All great ways to stay motivated. Thanks for posting!!
  • Hello all! We just moved to San Clemente, just a few blocks up from Mariposa Beach and the beach trail, about a 15min walk to the pier. It's a gorgeous run early in the morning!
  • I'm in! I want to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight by his first birthday on Jan 6. That might be cutting it close at this point, but hey, shoot for the moon and hit the stars, right? Starting weight: 186 Challenge Goal: 170 Ultimate weight loss goal: 160 Week 1(9/11): 186 Week 2(9/18): Week 3(9/25): Week 4(10/2):…
  • Thanks for the post, definitely inspirational! I love your mantra, I'm going to steal it! Keep on being amazing!
  • Hi ladies! My son is 2 months now and my daughter is almost 4 years. I'm breastfeeding him and so far it's going well, much easier the second time around. It's hard having two little ones who constantly need/want you for everything. The baby is a baby, obviously, and big sister is constantly demanding all that attention…
