I speak horse. His name is Susan, and he wants you to respect his life choices. :DD Priceless.

I'm in as well! Wee!!

Looks like an awesome book. the Preview on Amazon shows you the table of contents with all the rules, but I definitely want to read the chapter behind each one. I love Trainer Bob, he's always been my fave, and I have one of his workout dvds which is also awesome.

I am so glad someone posted this!! Love DH, although I've had to watch them on DVD from a Brit friend of mine since we don't have BBC on our tv at the moment. I cried so hard at the Ten leaving episode, I loved him and Rose so much, and I was all bitter about Smith, but after one episode Smith TOTALLY won me over!! Like…

Absolutely! I love this. I've started doing it with snacks and mealtimes, recently. If I'm in the kitchen foraging around, and I ask myself, okay, there's salad or soup that you can have, and my answer is, nah, I don't want that, then I know I'm not actually hungry, just bored or tired, etc., and it's time to leave the…

SW: 194 LW: 190.4 CW: 187.9 Total lost in June: 6.1 pounds Okay, so not the 10 I was shooting for, but more than halfway there, and that's the most progress I've seen in the 14 months since my daughter was born, so I am SOO glad I participated in this challenge. Another for July???

I've always found that it's important for me to first do something that makes me happy, something good to myself. Like, read a book, play online, anything that will lift my spirits and get me out of the funk that has a) caused the binge and b) resulted from the binge. Once I'm feeling better about myself outside of the…

I was up about 2 pounds this morning, but I don't buy it yet. My usual weigh-in day is Monday, so I'm withholding final judgement until then, and hopefully I can salvage this a bit over the weekend.

6/8 = 192.6 6/15 = 190.4 2.2 pounds lost last week 3.6 pounds lost so far this month

Yes to DDD. Even if I've just eaten, that shows makes me want to run out and get a sackful of something greasy and delicious. Also, I've learned to stay away from Pinterest when I'm hungry, there are always tons of yummy looking desserts and things on there.

Wow. You inspire me, girl. I'm trying to get rid of my baby belly and you've obviously worked very hard on yours. Good job!
-
My big reward is going to be first my wedding dress, and then taking a honeymoon to anywhere with a beach so that I can strut around like the chick everyone hates in a teeny bikini, hehe. I also plan to get my belly piercing redone, since I took it out when I was preggo. And even though I've got lots of pre-baby clothes…

Better late than never: 6/1 = 194 6/10 = 192.6 So 1.4 lost. A little less than I was hoping for, just .6 away from the 2 pound loss per week I'm going for. But lesson learned -- I let myself skip exercise twice last week, and slip a bit on the snacks on Friday. But otherwise, an extremely productive week and I'm super…

I with you, girl! I'm determined to break the 190's before the fireworks!! My goal is to hit 185, it's gonna be hard but I know I can do it if I just stick to the tools in my toolkit!
-
I know that my goal for this group is going to be to faithfully log every single bite I eat. I've been too relaxed about only logging part of the time, and I know I've been eating more than I think. That, and sneaking in exercise whenever I can.
-
I need to be faithful about logging my calories, I think that will go a long way towards improving things for me. Also, I'm getting a jogging stroller on Monday, so the plan is to run 2-3 days a week, plus doing dvds and at-home circuit training another 2-3 days a week, for workouts 5 days a week.

Hey gals! I love a good challenge! Current Weight: 194 Goal by June 30th: 185 What motivates you to stick to your plan to lose weight?: Getting back into my pre-baby skinny jeans and burlesque costumes, and being confident in a bathing suit at some point this summer. My weight loss has been slow since having this baby, and…

I am totally in! I dance in a burlesque troupe before getting pregnant and I'm working on getting back into dancing shape so that I can start up my own troupe and get back to dancing! Love the scene, love the inspiration, I'm totally in!

Thank you so much for mentioning Tiffany Rothe! She is amazing. I definitely have a new go-to for at home workout days. Sweet!

Instead we practice "acceptance" so no one has to do anything hard. <<< this. What the heck. Wake up people, the truth hurts. It has actually bothered me for a long time that there is this push to make it seem ok or just another lifestyle to be fat. Now, it's one thing to villainize fat "people", because regardless of how…

Oh god, between Jack and the Doctor, I mean really, how are you supposed to chose? Althougth, as much as I love the 11th doctor, I think I'd take the good Captain over him this time, hehe. ...swoon

Who?

Seriously, I can't believe everyone went along with her whole little scheme to get Daphne voted off. Except then they all instantly regretted it because the suddenly realized they looked like idiots at the weigh-in and in front of Bob and stuff. Hopefully they'll start to see her for who she really is, soon.

Bump! I don't think we say this to ourselves enough, thanks for the happy thoughts.

This!! Listen, I only have one kid, and she's a baby without any extra-curriculars, etc., and I still find it impossible to fit in decent workouts if I don't plan out my schedule in advance. It was so easy as a single girl, I could hit the gym whenever I wanted and I was only worried about feeding myself. Now all that…

If I wore a new dress to work, and my coworker came up to me and said, hey, you look super cute today, my first reaction would not be, wtf b*tch, was I ugly yesterday or something? It's. A. Compliment. A compliment today does not equal an insult on yesterday. It's very hard to let go of our inner fat-kid just because we…

Woohoo! Celebrate every victory, that's awesome. Feels good to see the fruits of your labor. And I love your pic too, it's crazy cute!

Everyone you will see is either a) also running and too busy worrying about their own jiggle to notice yours, or b) not running and feeling like an *kitten* because they wish they were. Go you!

So glad you started this thread, it's great to see other tall folks and where they are. I'm 5'9'', and at 197lbs I'm wearing a size 16. Before the baby, I was about 160 and wearing a snug size 10, or a roomy size 12. My goal is to get down to 145lbs and wear a size 8.

Hey girl, I can always use new friends as well. I had my first baby this year and I'm still trying to lose that weight. You've already lost 20 pounds, that's awesome! I try to post something everyday and comment and encourage and whatnot, the support is what MFP is all about!
