<Official member of the I hate treadmills club! Give me the great outdoors in the heat, cold, rain, or snow any day. I get so bored on treadmills and find it incredibly hard to keep motivated and keep running.

Me and my wife both lost so much weight that we wear our rings on our middle fingers. It bothered me at first, but now its sort of a symbol of what we were able to accomplish together!

Awesome job! You look great!

Probably just focus on your recovery from surgery. Once your fully healed from surgery, you can get back to exercise and focus on diet. Best bet for now is just avoid junk food, make better ood choices, and let nature take its course! I hope you are feeling much better really soon!

I operate on two rules, and it has served me well. First is verify whatever I can to ensure accuracy. Second is if I don't have a calorie count for something, I always use the highest calorie item similar to what I ate. This typically has the added bonus of steering me in the direction of better/healthier foods!

Its not about motivation. Motivation will inevitably ebb and flow with time. You need to establish habits. Make small changes incrementally that are sustainable and eventually they become habits. I'm not motivated everyday to work out, but I do it six days a week. Its become a habit, part of who I am, and motivation is no…

Three days of running 3-6 miles a shot, and three days of strength training. Been working out six days a week for almost a year and a half now. Been loving the reults! Feel free to add me if you like!

She said she has three kids, so just throwing them out probably is not a realistic scenario. I have the same issue to an extent, with a four year old in the house. You will need to give in from time to time and enjoy it. I buy as little junk food as possible, but I'm not playing the food police with my son. He is a healthy…

Hot wings.... Impossible to make work in a weight loss plan, and though I used to love them, just not worth it!

When I was at Disney I set my calories to maintenance and then didn't log any exercise. I came home down five pounds the next weigh in! You get more exercise than you think!

I feel this way to an extent. For me part of making this a true lifestyle change is having goals. As my body has changed and evolved so have my goals. My current goals are 20 pull ups, 300 pound squat, and 400 pound deadlifts. making good progress on all of those. When I reach those, I'll set new goals. Goals are no longer…

"I admit it you are better than me" "then why are you smiling" "because I know something you do not know" "what is that" "I am not left handed" All time favorite movie!

Before surgery make sure you've given every effort and opportunity to weight loss without it. I was considering it bi honestly in my heart I knew I hadn't done my full effort to lose the weight on my own. I made the self commitment to lose the weight and never looked back. It wasn't easy or fun but I've never been prouder…

I always do weights first. I do cardio six days a week and weights three. When it ones to strength training days that is my focus. Cardio uses a ton of energy and lifting while already tired/fatigued from cardio just seems counter productive at best, and dangerous at worst. Just my opinion but it's worked great for me!

6'1", 189 lbs, eating 2,700 calories a day, work out six days a week, and still losing weight! Want to get down to single digit bodyfat than start a clean bulk! Currently at around 12% fat.

Just means your doing it right and lifting heavy. I frequently get a head rush after lifting heavy. Feel a little woozy and then the endorphins kick in as I realize what I accomplished! Great job on the PR by the way!

When you have a lot of weight to lose it will come quickly in the beginning. I lost 23 pounds the first two weeks, and 43 pounds the first month. It does slow down a lot after those initial drops, but should be pretty consistent as long as you maintain a deficit. I was able to lose consistently every week or 9 months…

Hard work, exercise, and persistence is all it takes! I started with walking, then did C25K, and then I started strength training. Now I work out six days a week! Run 14 miles a week, lift for three hours a week, and spend an hour a week cross training on the exercise bike! I'm addicted to the endorphins, and the results…
